There are some such changes when it comes to merit requirements because it isnt always been the indication for you to get accepted.I have seen that there are people who had been accepted

which does only have 3-5 smerits as minimum and still they do able to join up a certain campaign.So it isnt really that much of hard of a requirement for you to brag on if youd
really like to join one. About on using those campaign earnings then it will vary on a certain person on how he will use it.

From my perspective, I usually joined Bitcoin paid signature campaign and mostly ignore the altcoins paid signature because of shitcoins which maximum has no value in future. Even I have many shitcoins in my wallet and maximum has no value.

By the way, to the point I use my earning from signature campaign according to my need. It can be personal or sometime I support my family. Also I tried to spend all my educational expenses from my earning but sometime it can't reach because of low values paid campaign or lack of participation (I can't participate).

I do not think many people would have a problem being paid in altcoins as long as those were good altcoins, coins like ethereum, litecoin or even dogecoin, but most of the bounty campaigns you can see want to pay with their coins that have no value and cannot be sold anywhere, so people think about the possibility of waiting for months for their payment and that everything would have been for nothing as those coins never get any value, so they prefer to stick with signature campaigns that pay in bitcoin.

Look at the casinos on their minimum deposit and you might consider telling it that it's not expensive at all. It only becomes expensive when you decide to deposit with tremendous amounts.

Sometimes I bet on soccer with the money I earned from my signature, but I also use it on cryptocurrency exchanges... I always try to increase the amount of BTC... Sometimes it even works out!

Trading short term and gambling, they are all the same, you risk when you gamble but choose what you think is best for you.

I'd say, they don't matter at all in the purely luck based games. Be yourself that's it, if you have a lot of time of course you can help by making threads that is useful for people in the forum. Merit is the best reward and it would help you to gain spot easily in a signature campaign, however, not everyone is looking for merit, it also look on your post on what boards you are mostly posting, in case an opening is a gambling related campaign, of course the manager will hire those gambling posters even with no or less merit.

I agree with that. You should save money you earn and invest some in a monthly contribution. In addition, you can set up a budget to watch out for your gambling loss. Do not waste it all on gambling. We can all learn from some former gambling addicts and avoid pitfalls.

The merit system was placed for a reason and its serving its purpose for a very long time and it has given good posters the opportunity to prove themselves within the forum. Its true that earning them is hard but at least every poster thrive to give the best that they can in certain topics that they know.

Poker is still one of the games that eludes me and I want to learn it too, I am playing Texas hold'em but its really hard to play since most of the time I am easily caught of guard when trying to bluff and its really more of a mental game rather that a gambling game and that is why its a great game that I always watch whenever I have the opportunity.

That's actually how I see things (any signature campaign earnings) and I don't see it as a negative thing, providing that you are careful and responsible when it comes into gambling. I hold the majority of my earnings in an analogy of approximately 80/20 % and being extremely cautious to not surpass that boundary.

I see it as money that is set aside for some other purpose (You could call it pocket money too) but that doesn't mean that I don't take into account that it's still money I've earned, it would suck if I lose it of course. Yeah right, with kind of mindset you'll be able to control and save more than spend, there are people who continue to keep their coins and instead of playing or use it into gambling.
