We have no idea if he's male or female; and Satoshi might even be a group. Mostly the assumption is just that Satoshi is male, because Satoshi is apparently a name mostly given to dudes.

Seriously. Bring your "feminism" somewhere else lol.

This question comes up in my mind once but I didn't convince that Satoshi is a female in gender.

Until such time I found the Binance Blog that it is impossible from a characteristic of a woman become a crypto enthusiast.

Let me elaborate you on what content in the article in some important points and reason why women aren't in crypto and Satoshi isn't a female in gender.
  • Women are not interested in blockchain and cryptocurrency
  • Women are not skilled in investing in crypto
  • Blockchain companies are not women-friendly
  • Women don't occupy top positions in blockchain
  • Women cannot contribute to blockchain development

But in my assumption, Satoshi is a group of people.

It is very interesting because until now we are under the power of Satoshi Nakamoto which is hard to determine or detect what is real to confirm like what is gender due to the person behind this technology is invisible, additionally, I've also like the above mention that it is a group of people because of the fact, that we are a human being which is not just like a robot that there's no need to rest and it actually looks like networking, which is needed a large amount of maintenance to sustain the chain to become solid and also we couldn't do this in a short wave hit as long as it is based on electronics system.

Does it matter if Satoshi is female, male, group of female, group of male, group of male and female, lesbian, gay, and so on?

We are not talking here of a skirt or a blouse or a dress. We are talking here of an invention which caters to all people regardless of sex and gender. There is no reason to make a mountain out of a mole hill here.

What makes a claim that Satoshi is a male a violation of feminine and women rights?

Bitcoin has no boundaries, regardless of sex, race, religion, ethnicity and color.

So I don't get what's the whole argument whether Satoshi is sexist or not, obviously Satoshi's invention is for everyone to use. You only need to understand how it works and what it can do for you in the future..

Satoshi could be male, female, a group of people or an institution, a company or maybe even a non-binary. And I think that the gender orientation is really not that important for someone who is capable of discovering such asset who can free us from surveillance and inflation.

You might want to read a ton of "satoshi" post here.

It isn't sexist/discrimination, the speculation of who Satoshi is has been ongoing for quite a few years already, and don't underestimate how people could find info about the person by the very few publicly available information available. It isn't to say that they are right BUT it is for a fact that all information publicly available point out to him as being male, or being a group, as an example is the name "Satoshi" as pointed out by mk4. Stop putting the word sexist/discrimination to defend your argument since it's a pretty stupid one I must say. And to be perfectly honest, females don't generally have an attraction towards blockchain back then, whether you like it or not. Yes, Satoshi being female isn't impossible, but it IS more plausible for the person to be him based on given info.

Not only are none of those true, but the article you links says they are not true.

You are not an idiot because you misread the article (maybe your English skills aren't very good), but you are an idiot because you believe that those statements are true.

Is gender a serious concern for BTC? Just asking mate, We are in a modern era and your are bouncing back to the old aged group. Come up with unique questions about the technology, development and invention or some other regarding crypto currency. Gender is nothing to do with BTC or it's technology, plan to invest and try to make use of it rather than thinking about gender.

No one has really seen satoshi.
Many also believed that it was a group of people. And the main thing i liked about them is that they remain anonymous.
Maybe Sirius here in the forum, might know him physically but still it’s hard to claim about this too.
Many believe that Satoshi was a Male, but still as no one has seen him, so anything can happen.
But we shouldn’t argue on this matter, rather we should enjoy the amazing creation of his great Bitcoins

Instead of simply opening a new topic, perhaps you should have done some research.

I believe that Satoshi is one person. He's not homer, we have writings that we know for a fact are from him.

We also know that he disappeared when ( I think the CIA ) was possibly going to get in contact with him.

One of his last posts (previous to last) kind of confirms this in my view:

It would have been nice to get this attention in any other context.  WikiLeaks has kicked the hornet's nest, and the swarm is headed towards us.

I'm saying him, because I'm 99% sure it's a guy. You can read through all the posts and see if you can make a Judgement.

Satoshi could be a woman. I assume people are male on the internet by default.

I assumed the same of mk4 but the gender on the profile is Female.
I'm sure the picture of the wizard played some role in that though.

Syscoin has the best of Bitcoin and Ethereum in one place, it's merge mined with Bitcoin so it is plugged into Bitcoin's ecosystem and takes full advantage of it's POW while rewarding Bitcoin miners with Syscoin

True why would we even bother about the Bitcoin creator's gender?
Even if you found out what would it even do?
We should just respect it and move on with itthe creator doesn't want to have his/her/their personal information to be open in public.
Satoshi wants anonymity so why does we keep on invading and wants to unmask Satoshi?

I honestly don't think that this article is still relevant nowadays, Blockchain and cryptocurrency itself is available for both genders, and based on my experience, I have female friends who actually does better in me when it comes to knowledge about Bitcoin and how enthusiastic they are when it comes to learning more. I don't think bringing up this article would be of help to the OP, troll or not, and it also does sound sexist.

Although I do agree that the theories could either be that Satoshi is a group of people and the one who established it could then be male or female, just to add up to that bold assumption of yours, I really do think that the person who established Bitcoin is a guy.

We can't conclude on the gender of Satoshi, because it is clear to see more influencial females on the blockchain industry. Just googling itself we can find list of influencial females of blockchain industry. Influencial Women in Cryptocurrency.

wait .. you are so desperate to know the gender of Satoshi? if you knew he was a man then what would you do? Or vice versa if Satoshi was a girl, then what would you do?

I feel you do not build a discussion that is challenging enough ...
this kind of thing does not need to be discussed, because in reality the answers will be 2 men or 2 women. you try to make some sort of voting, and I'm sure most people will answer men.
that's enough to make you satisfied.
