It was a good exchange until it last. Yup leave them quickly before they would freeze your fund, they had to bend over to the SEC demand.

Price is a bit lower than top 10 average but its like 0.2%. So pretty much nothing.

Nah. Your decision to hold high risk asset cost you lot of money. We all knew that privacy coins will sooner or later be delisted from cexes. It was only a matter of time. And if bitfinex delisted monero means that they had to and that they are fulfilling the recommendations of the SEC not ignoring them like Ripple decided to.

Bittrex has been having issues in the past. I've had my funds blocked in my wallet over there - the money is still sitting there as they're waiting for KYC procedures from me to be done. I'd rather lose my bucks than give them my details. I really hoped they'd sink long time ago, but it looks like I was among the few customers who didn't want to comply to their orders.

Just leave it and whatever other exchange that seems to have show kind of oppression against privacy and decentralization.

Even if bittrex is a big exchange but in order to trade you need kyc i tried to register so i could purchase a token listed there but i couldnt and that means a lot of people wont be able to trade in bittrex and that affect the bitcoin price in the exchange because now people are investing in bitcoin and there is a lot of demand.

First of all you shouldn't look at how many dollars the price is different, but how much percentage. $300 looks like a lot but when you convert it to percentage you can see that it is barely anything since it is around 0.1%.

Secondly Bittrex ship (which used to be the #1 exchange and is now above #200) sank about 3 years ago when they decided to scam their users overnight and steal millions of dollars worth of cryptocurrencies from them.

After so many issues throwing into Bittrex exchange you still use it? I mean why would I still use that exchange which has a previous shady practices whats the point of using it since almost all coins can be  traded into top exchanges like Binance most comments are right remove all your assets before it gets scammed by them.

That's Bitfinex....but you are right. I just checked and it's $100-$200 behind which can be attributed to the number of traders there [volume].

...i think its time to leave sinking ship , what do you think guys?
You're quite late no? A lot of traders already left that exchange in 2018. They enforced KYC that time and also added an enhanced KYC later on. They have also deleted accounts and stole the funds of users who didn't comply if I am not mistaken.

Why do you even trade there?

they also have abnormal spread ,there are moments , when spread is more than 0,8% betwen asks and bidsa, sometimes it looks like nobody is trading there, the problem is i have developed a good working bot in three years , and migrate to other exchanges would take some time to. So I guess the only way to proceed , is migration to other exchange , and rewrite hundreds of code lines Smiley

Maybe someone of you are intrested to have BOT`s?

Every exchange will bend over to the centralize institutions in the end, it is only in a matter of time before other starts following their footsteps. I gotta agree, it is a sinking ship, it will be dominated by corpo monkeys sooner, and everyone who is still on the exchange will have their faces known with a government mandated KYC.

You are so right!
I am not using them almost at all since then.

But now they sank even deeper (if that's possible) with this Monero story (not that would be the first coin they drop just like that).
Now I withdrew my last few altcoins from there and thinking of removing my account too (I'm not convinced how/if that's possible though).

I’m lucky to withdraw all fund from bittrex quickly, because I smell something is going wrong on their platform and I urge people to move fund out of exchange as early as 2018, I dunno anybody listen to the advices, and the last I know is every exchange now doesn’t allow access without a KYC requirement, that’s a total red flag to me, I don’t even trust binance right now.

3 years ago I had to stop using bittrex when I saw that they blocked thousands of accounts from people from restricted countries and never returned money, there was a case of someone who was blocked 1 million dollars if my memory serves me well and he was desperate on this forum, I don't know if he managed to solve the problem, but since that day I stopped using bittrex. I constantly receive email from bittrex encouraging me to use the exchange again, but I don't. I have a bittrex account verified and I even thought about doing arbitrage there, but then I remembered the case of thousands of blocked accounts and gave up. what made me angry was the owners of bittrex, they were not ashamed and did not feel sorry for the people who had blocked accounts.

Yeah man, that’s really happening and I smell it too quickly, it just doesn’t feel all okey, they’re hiding something from us, although we have no prove or anything, I think the exchange are run by a bunch of monkeys that steal money just like Mt. Gox, but but this is one of the reputable exchange we can’t raise any doubt earlier, I think they’re totally down to the hill.

That's Bitfinex....but you are right. I just checked and it's $100-$200 behind which can be attributed to the number of traders there [volume].

You are right... well ... my brain is now focussed on reading candles not letters Smiley

Bittrex is registrated exchange focused on filling all regulations. This force them to thing that scare potential customers away (like KYC to just open account). Thats why volume there is going down but ... its way far from Mt. Gox case.

But now they sank even deeper (if that's possible) with this Monero story (not that would be the first coin they drop just like that).
Now I withdrew my last few altcoins from there and thinking of removing my account too (I'm not convinced how/if that's possible though).
They made a ton of money after delisting XMR since people either withdrew or sold their coins. Withdrawing means giving Bittrex money, so does selling/purchasing anything over there. I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to relist XMR after a while. This is a very simple way to crash a coin and make a ton of money at the same time, in a short timespan.
