Crptomagma, I would advise you to avoid talking at all about things that could result in the financial or some other loss of a member of your family or friends. When people lose money in one way or another, they will blame the one who gave them the idea to invest in something they didn't even know before.

Also, at a time when the price of BTC is going up more and more, I personally wouldn’t draw attention to myself - people often talk too much and you never know who your story will get to.

In any investment place there will not be assurance for your money, seriously. If the investment place that you bought experience a decreasing price a lot than you will lose your money and otherwise you will get a lot of money when the investment place that you bought is increasing.

Bitcoin is an investment place like the other. Depend on your strategy and your knowledge to make your money safe and lose. So please, when you start investing in bitcoin be sure you already know the ins and out of it, don't blame bitcoin when you experience a loss, just blame yourself when something bad happen.

That in fact happened to me, before the bull run that we saw in 2017 I talked to some people about bitcoin and I said to them that it was the future, and as you may guess they did not listened to me but I was not offended because I immediately recognized that bitcoin was not for everyone and it was a technology that was too new for most people to accept.

But then as the price began to skyrocket and bitcoin appeared all over the news those very same people came to me and wanted to receive financial advice, and I in fact told them to not invest in bitcoin at that moment because they were sure to lose money, not only because the price was very high but also because they were completely inexperienced when it came to take their financial destiny in their own hands, but they ignored my advice, lost money and then they blamed for it despite the fact that I told them to not buy bitcoin at that moment.

The ups and downs of bitcoin prices are one of the risks of bitcoin investors, if you explain to your friends about bitcoin there is no need for any guarantees, just explain to him the risks and advantages of bitcoin and how it works and most importantly just explain the basics first
it is true to explain to others about bitcoin whether to friends or family you have to start with the risks that must be borne and the advantages of having bitcoin so that in the end let them judge for themselves.

Lots of people are still considering the risk investing in bitcoin. The fact that bitcoin price is increasing almost on a daily basis makes it more scary for them. A friend once asked me “What if the price falls ridiculously “? At that point I was almost dump folded and beginning to panic within myself. I was trying to convince him to see reasons with me on why he should invest in bitcoin and now I’m shivering with his questions. Is there any assurance to give  people especially in time of discussing bitcoin with a friend or family member as a bitcoin enthusiast?
If the person has fear of cryptocurrencies it is hard to convince him that cryptos can be volatile but they are superb investments for the future. You can convince him by simply explaining how this thing works. The security features, how blockchains work, how innovative and futuristic cryptocurrencies are.

let's discuss it healthily, that bitcoin is indeed fluctuating and it can come down suddenly, and it can also go up drastically in a very fast time too. what we have to pay attention to is the movement between the two trends, when it is in an uptrend, don't worry, the price will go down because it will definitely continue to rise to its peak. conversely, if it is in a downtrend, then within a few months it will continue to fall, like that we have seen recently, and I believe it can be easily understood and in essence bitcoin is a safe investment asset.

Even we are in the pumping season bitcoin could still go down anytime but it doesn't mean that we have to be worried about it because this is normal and we should expect things like this, if that would happen then just keep holding your bitcoin or buy some more, that would be the good thing to do because bitcoin is a haven and it is really good for long term investment.

I invested my money in bitcoin and other crypto currencies knowing the risks that I am taking. Those amounts that I invested is an amount that I could lose. I don't need an assurance about it, I know myself that dumps could happen in a short period of time the reason why I don't invest that much of my money into it.

Instead of focusing on the assurance just to convince them to invest in bitcoin, tell them the risk factors of it and why it's worthy of taking a risk. There is nothing to be afraid of when they ask you about the questions related to the crashing of the price because that's normal and could happen in bitcoin. If they are really interested in bitcoin, this kind of factor won't discourage them easily. In fact, it will help them to be more careful and critical in investing in Bitcoin. Nothing is a 100% guarantee or assurance in investment, so why panic when it is natural in the field of investing.

All of the investments not only in bitcoin is in risk, why? Simply because it is like you are gambling your money on a thing that there's no assurance just like in business and etc. If you entered on the bitcoin when it is in high then if the price falls then you will experience losses. What we need to them to understand is that how bitcoin works so that they can join in investing if he/she knows how they will take profit on it. Everyone can discuss on what is bitcoin and the best thing to start is in your family.

Crashes are already common to make happen in this industry specially with regards to Bitcoin and most of us do already know the risks and consequences we will face since we have been here for quite long time ago and not just saw but already experienced lots of crashes that happened but still look at us being able to remain here despite of that given fact that whenever there is a pump, expect the counter part which is a possible dump just like the big crash that happened last 2018. From that, we have learned lots of lesson and still keep ourselves to be patient and treat the scenario as an opportunity to invest or purchase more Bitcoin on its lower stage. If crash is what making you afraid to get into Bitcoin, then maybe you are not really into taking the risks and consequences that it might get to you.

I guess if you buy it before that you can make some money on it. The winklevoss twins have 2 billion$ worth of bitcoin. Bought it at 100$ and they haven’t sold a coin nor do they want to. So if you never wanna sell it how is it worth anything. Even people sell gold

There is no such "assurance" when it comes to Bitcoin or the rest of the cryptocurrencies. You can just explain the mechanism of the cryptocurrencies and their high volatility. Because one should know the differences between Bitcoin and fiat to make a clearer decision about which place to invest in. And yes, there is a risk for the price to go down so sharply and it will always be. The key point here is investing in Bitcoin for a long-term.

Your friend is right, bitcoin can crash anytime and it can go down ridiculously, if you are afraid of losing money then you should also afraid of investing in bitcoin because no one knows what would happen to bitcoin in the future but if you keep on being scared then nothing will happen, it is all about taking a risk if you want yo succeed then always take a risk.

there is no guarantee for that, currently the market is volatile, the bitcoin market can crash anytime no one knows about it, don't give them guarantees when they are afraid of risks when investing, show the market history from year to year and surprise them with  what do you make when investing in the crypto world, teach them how to invest in cryptocurrencies until they are absolutely sure to invest, equip them with more than enough knowledge and experience so that they can survive in the volatile market.

You can't guarantee anything for anyone in the cryptocurrency market. They should already be aware of the volatile nature of cryptocurrencies. Of course the possibility of a sharp decrease in the price makes people scared (especially short-term investors). If you are a HODLer there is nothing to worry about, I think.

There's not, if the tech behind it can not convince you to invest so just stay away since as a matter of fact it's possible for Bitcoin price to crash hard...

Also don't try too hard to convince other people that Bitcoin is a good investment or will have a higher value in the future because that could not be a great look for you or Bitcoin, all you should do is helping those who are interested about crypto space when they ask you for more information or your insight and apart from that you shouldn't bother with that as most of the time it doesn't make a difference in their decision any way.
