Wow. I thought Wolves would pull it off because Arsenal without Auba is always a bit tight but I did NOT foresee those red cards flying all over the place. I mean David Luiz is always a liability waiting to happen but I thought Arteta fixed his discipline problems... it appears not at all.

A very, very costly loss for them, and a huge one for Wolves.

Happy to get my betbuilder done and dusted, but feel a bit sorry for the Gunners... I do recall playing with betbuilder and over 29.5 booking points for EACH team would have gotten me 40/1...

After watching both matches between the two partnerships sides today, I have to say if you did put over on bookings you were laughing.
Two cards in each match. The Luiz one was right before half time with 12 seconds to go and Bernd Leno putting the ball out of bounds (that is worth a red card?) just made it too difficult for the Arsenal side to comeback from.
Has that ever happened in a day having 4 red cards in two separate matches?
How many bookings are red cards worth 9.5 each one?
Maybe we will have these in the next betbuilder competition instead of corners.

There wasn't a specific rule in the requirements against doing this.
But when we have a tiebreaker involved so to see who had won the competition, would you really want to have the exact same ticket entered in?
If it comes down to one goal or one corner in your bet so to win I wouldn't want it coming down to it.

Not the same ticket but same match:) So for example, 2 tickets in the same game but one betting on corners and cards,,, and another betting on other events like goalscorer and goal overs. Or one ticket betting on 1 and the other betting on 2:) Many many different outcomes from one match alone.

Oh and I did not win Manchester United game. I bet under 6.5 goals and they score 9. I bet 9 corners and they only get 8. And my odds was only 2.16;)

Direct Red cards are 20 points, yellow 10 points (so if you get a second yellow it's still 20 points). I do seem to recall from memory that Arsenal have been involved in many 2 or more red card matches, from the good old days of Arsenal-Man United, back when hard-tackling defenders and midfielders were a staple of English teams. These days, the red cards are from naughty behaviour more than rugby tackling heh.

I generally add a under yellow for Liverpool. Since Houllier days, we've generally won the FIFA Fairplay award every season almost (I stopped checking but used to follow it because the FIFA Fairplay award winner actually used to get a ticket into qualifying rounds for Europa League if you didn't qualify from the league or cup competitions... yes, Liverpool were that bad at one point I was hoping we'd secure a berth from Fairplay haha;)

I think under Klopp, we've won it every season, and still lead the rankings this season... last season, we committed the least fouls in ALL 35 European leagues;)

So yeah, under is one of my favourites to add for Liverpool, even a 1.2x is good value for me just to boost some picks!

Yellow card is always 10 points. Never seen it as something different. One player can make 35 points maximum. Here is a quote from Sportsbet site:

Yellow card counts as 10 points and red or yellow red cards as 25.
The 2nd yellow for one player which leads to a yellow red card is not considered. As a consequence one player cannot cause more than 35 booking points.

More than likely not. This doesn't seem to be in the spirit of the challenge as there will be a league of matches which are limited as it is inwhich ones are allowed for the betbuilder option. And it just wouldn't seem too good for the concept of why we are having these offered from sportsbet.io to begin with.

Ah yes, now I remember from your detailed description of how the carding option works.
Two yellow cards are given points different from a straight red card.

I think adding this selection instead of corners option in the next competition will make it more interesting for sure!

Ah, I did not know that. The rule I've used is from other books, guess I need to update my knowledge, and thanks for the pointer. I wonder what happens when a player gets 3 yellow cards (yes, it has happened before, ref forgot to send off players haha). Ref mistakes usually count in football.

This makes it pretty worthwhile to bet on overs I guess for teams like Arsenal this season. Or even United at some point.

Only player I know who managed to pull 3 yellow cards in single game is Josip Šimunić for Croatia national team. It was during World Cup, don't remember year or the game but I remember we had a lot of fun with that situation

Lets do the Juventus vs Roma / Arsenal vs Aston Villa / Maniz vs Union / Hoffenheim vs Frankfurt for this week's challenge.
I've included the Arsenal's match which is early tomorrow morning so it's not very nice to only allow less than 24 hours for you submit your entry on a match which is in short notice. But it is for an Arsenal's jersey so we have to include their match.
But if you still want to enter into it this one then what we will do is to have 3 matches selected out of the 4 listed above to qualify.
Prizes for 1mbtc free bets for first, second and third place and the jerseys will be offered for ALL participants even if you lose.

Just left the one Betbuilder on Roma now to see if I can make up for the day. Days like these I just want to wonder what's going on. Almost was tempted to do betbuilders on BVB too but they lost. Blaming the Rona for everything, but anyway, can't wait to see the odds coming for Superbowl -- the ads are somewhat disappointing as a neutral =D

Low scoring. Am I the only one who had bets for the over on goals when all their matches since yesterday have ended in a 1-0 score?
Ever since Chelsea's win over Tottenham the other day all mine have lost because of these 1 goal matches.

But yeah moving forward the Superbowl should be a good one to bet on and you have a chance at a 5mbtc free bet for betting on the color along with your bet of 0.5mbtc so why not?

So, it's a tight match up. I've read all I can and it's impossible to really separate two really good sides with a shouting chance to lift it. I think both will go for it early and then try to drain the other in latter quarters. What happens for people who want to join but for some reason you can't get a jersey shipped to their place (like me  )? Will you be able to claim the BTC equivalent of it instead? To be honest I don't think this would work out though because the jerseys themselves are worth more than 1mBTC free bets.

Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE to claim an Arsenal jersey but circumstances don't allow me to do so (along with anything else shippable internationally). So I'm hoping there's some kinda alternate compensation available.
