You just described all centralized businesses that has ever existed.
Almost completely agree. I've used almost every exchange available to my nationality -- Bittrex, Poloniex, Binance, etc. Customer service has ranged from non-existent (literally no replies ever on any channel) to frustrating (have you tried this? Please be patient).
To be fair though, I've also experienced quick resolutions on disputes from Localbitcoins -- but that's probably more automated than anything else.
And to be very fair, after trying many such centralized businesses, I've actually found one crypto exchange to have fairly quick and professional support - Bitpanda.
But it still stands. Centralized businesses often fail at customer support. And that's true not just for crypto.
