Hello.

i have a t17e, one of hashboards show found 78 asic, but Frequency is 0.

i have a t17e, one of hashboards show found 78 asic, but Frequency is 0

This is strange, T17e does have 78 chips on each hash board, so it should work fine, the only thing I can think of right now is the PSU, can you unplug chain 2 and leave only chain 1 and 3?

Also, did this board suddenly stop working or how did the problem actually start?

What is your total hashrate for the machine showing?? 37ish ? I'm just curious if your total hashrate is low or if this is some sensor issue?

@mikeywith how are the PSU connections on these made inside the machine?? Is it still pci-e or similar to the Whatsminers making a connection on a bridge baord.

It could be something like a loose connection and as simple as making sure it's seated.

His hashrate is perfectly reported, there are a few versions of the T17e, judging by the fact that his shows about an average of 18.7th per board it means he has the 53th version and he got a lucky miner because 53th is the highest and that would average slightly below 18th per board.

I just meant "Total" up top. If he was showing 53 I would have just assumed sensor issue. Wouldn't be the first time someone was worried about a visual problem.

It's a busbar/bridge set-up, it's not uncommon to find loose screws in these 17 series, so good point, he should check those as well.

Yeah I remember having some issues with my busbar style miners. that would be one of my first checks, ensuring screws are tight and everything is seated properly.

That's pretty bad did you touch directly the board to replace regulators.

Anyway, what things did you do first before you replace LDO?

Sometimes the signals from logs are due to a connection problem between the hashboard and the control board. Replacing the cable sometimes solves the issue.

But if you already tested them and run the miner one by one to test if each hashboard running fine without the other two hashboard connected. If the result is still the same the hashboard is broken.

Hi
I did not repaired T17e, but,
on s9 and T17 when this problems occured one of the cips wass not weldet properly.
Have you change the place of board, whith other board?
Only after put the board on test tool and measure the 5 signals i descovered the problems.
Home user withowt tools and knowledge cannot fix this.

Hello,

i had same issue. And i solved my problem. Problem is in one or more chips.
Install, for expamle HiveonOS and set chain frequency on 55Mhz (in Asic management) and hashboard start hashing, (maybe) Smiley
Then check Asic Management and send us screen shot.

This is screen shot of my hash board, i changed Asic chip number 50 and board start hashing.

Actually, that log is related to configuration since the model of his unit is t17e it will show you 0x 7777777 but if you have different t17 series then you can have a different one.

do you changed your control board?
before change that make sure your flats are healthy.
