Way back in the Bible, in Judges, there is this wording listed about 5 times: "In those days Israel had no king." There is also this wording, twice: "In those days Israel had no king; everyone did as they saw fit."
Then, in the time of Samuel the prophet, the people of Israel asked for a king. Both God and Samuel didn't like the idea. But God gave the people what they asked for.
Down through the ages of the world, people have been looking for freedom from their unjust kings. Finally, in the UK, the people gained enough strength to force their king into certain freedoms for the people through the Magna Carta. Over the decades, the Magna Carta was changed, rewritten, strengthened to give people more freedoms, and the king less control.
When the people started coming to the Americas back in the 1500s, the kings of the various European nations tried to enforce their authority onto these people. But because of the slow communications and transportation of those times, and the great distances involved, the kings had a difficult time doing this.
By the middle of the 1700s, the people living in the eastern part of what is now called the USA, were being forced into gradual, though limited, slavery by the kings of Great Britain. These [USA]people had gotten used to freedom, and they didn't like what the kings were attempting to do to them.

The problem with the Articles was, there was no method for forcing the colonies to do their bidding. And that was the way it was supposed to be. After all, the people weren't going to throw off the authority of the British king, just to be enslaved by a new American one, the Articles. But... King George was powerful. And the people needed a way to combine their authority, to find mutual strength, to fight off the armies of King George.
The Magna Carta wasn't strong enough. The Articles of Confederation weren't strong enough. So, using their limited authority granted to them by the Articles, the delegates formed the Constitutional Convention (

Here is the result of the creation of the USA. Remember that there are writings that show that King George covertly helped with the creation of the USA once he realized that the people were going to win their freedom out in the open. Here is the Bible language, Revelation 13:

This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.

The USA is being directed, covertly, by the shadow government that is the Articles of Confederation, to exercise power through the Constitution of the United States, which it created at the first Constitutional Convention. The Articles were never repealed. The Constitution came about under their direction. The Articles still rule, but covertly, and in silence as far as the average citizen can see.
