That's a true bitcoin believer. How do you see the future of bitcoin for the next years? What do you think it will happen after 50k? Any other price targets?

I remember 2014 quite well. There were people who were predicting $5K bitcoin by end of 2014 and then later these same people were expecting double digit bitcoin at the end of 2014. Many people were very bearish in 2015 which did nothing to the price for most of the year. Pretty boring year. I remember the Antminer S5 was the best miner to have back then. Made a great profit if you held all those coins, which I am sure most didn't.

Its crazy how we are so close to $50K. And reading your thread really brings back many memories. Its good that you are still active on this forum. Most people have moved on to Twitter or Reddit.

I think become easy across bitcoin to $50,000 just left $9,000 again for bitcoin can raise to $50,000, maybe few weeks bitcoin will reach with your price prediction but depend with still happen when Joe Bidden become United State president, will make statement with bitcoin or not because when have popular people tweet about bitcoin give big impact with good or lower price, just wait what happen next when Joe Bidden become president.

It's all relative.

Some people are saying, "no way it gets to $100K," despite the percentage change in prices being much lower than some bubbles in years prior. Thinking in absolute dollar figures is part of the reason why people believe that Bitcoin is so expensive. Stack sats. There will always be detractors and there will always be hodlers. Besides... that QE ship needs to set sail again.

Yep thats true, Back in those days started with my gaming computer and now I Own antminers with the largest warehouse in the world located in Washington State
I remember those days with $12 Bitcoin trades in localbitcoin / MtGox and Cryptsy

We are all crossing fingers and you will outlive the $50k with many many years. In the current situation, we could see 1 Bitcoin for $50k in a couple of hours or a couple of years...

I applauded OP for his perseverance. It seems you are gonna hit that goal. I've read the topic and some comments there from users are probably regretting what they said before. Like a guy mentioned that it's impossible, but see where we are now almost closed to 50k. It's quite interesting to see reminicse post like that which when you go back you'll find it highly appreciating for being there. Then there we are 50k otw and yes you are still here. Not just 50k but could also actually reach 100k if this bull market continues.

The first comment on your post in 2013 was the most noticeable one. I hope that guy will make a come back to this thread as well and explain what's unbelievable lol.
Some of the comments that's coming from the new member during those days didn't have enough faith in Bitcoin, but to those who are already an established member already knew Bitcoin would hit $50k.
So, there's really a huge difference between a casual Bitcoin investors and Bitcoin enthusiast.

I have said before that I really hope to see in my lifetime $100k (of course, preferably, with that amount worth more or less what it's worth today)... and that I'd probably never live to see the 1 satoshi = 1 cent mark. Probably still holds true today, but it's a little less improbable with every cycle. I might yet live to see a near-maxed out supply.

And now especially looking at your original thread. People saying never, or "see you in 33 years" for 50k.

So I imagine now in 2050 that's asking for a lot, maybe it won't seem so in 2030;)

I think easy but now bitcoin have correction before reach $50k and waiting how long bitcoin will have this price. I think every time bitcoin reach to higher price always have moment for bitcoin should correction first before make break out and raise to higher price, I think now moment for bitcoin correction until $39k and keep going on and touch more than $45k before bitcoin success make new record with higher price above $50k.

Even with $9K  after it reached $41K  the price will hit $50K not quite far away from that target, a resistance had already  been established at $41K with reference to 4 hour timeframe BTC,/USD  chart once the resistance is broken the will easily reach $50K The Price Action in the previous days indicates high volatility of BTC without any trace of a massive pullback andI believed the bullish runs will continue throughout this year.

Well, people who have this type of ideological stance on bitcoin are always makes me happy. I just like it when people realized bitcoin will be a huge thing very early on, and decided to say "I am not going to sell all of my bitcoins at any price" , sure we are all human and we may need some money because of something and cash out, but there are so many early investors who have millions of dollars worth of bitcoin very easily, that is like 200+ bitcoins or so right now, there are people with thousands of bitcoins, a lot of them as well, who never get out fully, they always keep some of their money in. That is the good part of bitcoin, you know how well and awesome it is designed from start, so you keep it.

Some people say "I wish I got in earlier" but I know they would get out the moment it hit 1000 dollars, but there are some who understand how big this can get.

there is nothing that can prohibit providing predictions that will be done, it is just how we respond to what has been done, whether we believe it or not. argumentation can happen a lot when determining something and what is reasonable. Like a $ 50K raise, you may not be sure because it's been talked about for a long time but I see it from other perceptions in determining that.

The halving that I used as a benchmark to determine that bitcoin will increase or not and that also can not be proven but this is an experience that has happened and is real. The first and second halving is quite a significant difference from last year's third halving and seeing that this year is the time for bitcoin to increase. but if calculated from the difference between the first and second halving then $ 50K is too small.
