Wow, how interesting is that, Bitcoin was just really the best looking back at a time when Bitcoin was just nothing and now the market price was already reached around 70k$. I mean the potential of Bitcoin or its market price was just so high, with the limited supply of 21 million bitcoin, at the moment we already have an all-time high just like that and we only have around 5% of people around the world who knows or use bitcoin. Just imagine what is going to be the market price if that people increases to around 30% or even up to 100% the market price surely is going to skyrocket at that point.

I've learned my lesson in the past years throughout the market cycles and if we are going to base on that market is always going to come back higher, I mean it is still a risky investment for most people but we believed that bitcoin is going to reach millions of dollars or even more, I'm not going to sell my bitcoin, probably going to take profit from time to time every bull run but it was just too good of investment so it's difficult to sell all of my Bitcoin because I believed on it and its potential, bitcoin is still on its process and still continue to adapt around the world.

Nice, just interesting to see and look back at this kind of thread and moving forward, seeing how far BTC price currently. I mean we have reach $50k and obviously our next stop is at least $100k.

I do agree that majority here should stick to Bitcoin, although we might considered Ethereum as a solid altcoin, but still nobody can beat Bitcoin as this point. So onwards in the future and do hope that we will see 6 digits as the next all time high.

130K is a very big thing to wait for and I think it is a very long time coming for Bitcoin although it is definitely worth the wait as I would also love to see 130K in Bitcoin in the future. And for other things like non-Bitcoin, I think it depends on each person's perspective on what they perceive it to be because until now I haven't seen any other cryptocurrency that is better than Bitcoin. Hopefully we can all see 130K in Bitcoin although for now I'm expecting 50K in the near future.

The same when we wait $50,000 last bull run, we thought that it's not going to be hit, but then again, the market went on a massive run from $3k during the height of corona virus scare in March 2020 to a new all time high of $69,000 in 2021.

So I will say that everything is still possible in the market. Maybe that $100,000 is just the tip price in the next bull run. As others have been expecting as high $200,000 (although I think that's exorbitant prediction, nevertheless, as I have said, no one knows so we will leave that price as open for now).

Yes, we are one of those who make up the majority of this bitcoin HODL as an annual long-term investment instrument that we must hold.
Favorite altcoin Ethereum, ETH a solid coin that is able to hold on to second place with a sizeable market cap but still can't surpass bitcoin because it's too far, I don't think bitcoin will ever be shifted in first place in the market.

6 digits? not a wild guess but I believe this is a price that will soon be reached for the next, at least 100K we can still survive and if the price is more than 100K we get a big profit if we don't sell at 100K.

It's seems almost big thing with Bitcoin price $130k because current price under $30k, nothing impossible for bitcoin price since success made all time high to $65k but current price seems not supported for bitcoin can reach fantastic price until $130k. I think too high expecting with bitcoin raise $130k and for $50k seems realistic target without 60% current bitcoin price right now.
Waiting with halving close one or two months left and seeing will bitcoin success up to higher price or still stuck under $30k. However positive news will give good impact for bitcoin price will going up and bad news make bitcoin drop drastically, lets waiting when near with halving have good news or bad news?

Today is the red market again so that the hope to soon reach $ 50k must be delayed, but we must be optimistic that the end of the year the price can reach at least $ 50k because there are many factors, of course the biggest factor that can be a trigger is Halving Day which will occur in 2024 or less from a year.

Man you are awesome! You replied to a comment of 2021 in 2023, and that's amazing to see. However, I'm quite sure that the one who posted the comment is not going to follow this thread because that user might have forgot about the comment in those years.

I agree with you that other than Bitcoin everything else is considered as a shit-coin and a shit-coin won't be able to make someone a good investor because they can go down in value anytime and the only one coin that would stay forever would be the king of the crypto-currencies Bitcoin.

I also expect that Bitcoin will soon cross the value of $120k, and I wish that it would reach the value of $130k or more in 2024-2025. The value increase of Bitcoin is a sure thing and that thing will most probably take place in those coming years after the halving event.

Welcome back op and its nice to see that you are making now some another approach when it comes to price predictions on which that 50k did able to reach out and now expecting for $130k?
This is somewhat realistic compared to those who are waiting for 500k or even  a million for this upcoming bull run. It is really that good or wise on doing so on taking up such step on accumulating
while the price is low at the moment on which it would really be just that wise if you are holding for long but if you do make out some short trades then it would really be putting up on that skeptical
part basing up on the current movement which is really that somewhat stagnant or doesnt make much of a movement. This is why it would really be that always good and preferred on having that
realistic approach when it comes to price predictions and approach so that you wont really be expecting that much with those high numbers which turns out to be not achievable on a short
time duration or period.

Another 2-3 years may still be reasonable enough to reach ATH $100k, and that price is really what all crypto users are waiting for.

I think that’s a good take and we will likely see a new all time high in 2025. Bitcoin does have a major test in front of it though. It has never seen a real recession and the fed seems hell bent on causing one to stop inflation. If it gets bad then people and companies might have to capitulate. However, if that doesn’t happen I think over $100K in 2025 is almost a certainty.

Great I like the long term threads, the hodl guy I believe was still around though my memory might be wrong as it wasn't recent but it had too many non relevant posts on it so it was locked and the guy who sold his house to buy BTC also he did an update if Im remembering right but they should now start a new thread to update and it'd be just as valid.

A long term view is needed but I wonder how people estimate or keep a fair target over many years.  I use charts alot and totally rely on how the various time frames integrate to give a bigger picture over a decade or more.  Which news source would you be relying on besides this forum perhaps, if anything the people involved over a decade or more should be speaking more on their perspective & experiences etc.  as we have varied greatly over that time.

The bitcoin price prediction that you put forward before has now become a reality, even the bitcoin price once exceeded $ 50k. I'm sure the people who didn't believe you when you created the thread, would have felt disbelief. Because what I see, from the thread you made, the replies from btt members at that time, mostly commented that it took a long time for bitcoin to arrive at a price of $ 50k, and some even commented that this was impossible. But all the comments in your thread first, that said bitcoin would take a very long time to reach a price of $50k and for people that said it was impossible. Now all the replies from the people who made this opinion have all been refuted.

Honestly, when I saw this thread you created, I became more motivated to continue investing in bitcoin and hold it for a long time. Because it is possible that the price of bitcoin in the next 10 years can touch a price of more than $ 100k and that is not impossible.

This year has been running for seven months and from the looks of it there seems to be no bad news that could destroy the price of Bitcoin in the market except just holding in the $30K area. And this could mean that someday before next year there is good news that could affect the increase in the price of Bitcoin, I think it will happen significantly to Bitcoin even if not for $130K because from the price levels it looks like right now it's still a very large amount to be achieved by Bitcoin with a duration of time that may not be sufficient if only for this year.
