On the contrary, who are stopping these big companies from entering the field? This is open market and we can't really control who or what entity are going to buy. Besides, ordinary people can invest or used bitcoin as form of money.

Again, I find your argument flaw in the beginning. From Africa to Asia, anyone can invest, so it is still distributed all over. It's not just US big companies are entering, there are also wealthy people from Mexico to Asia, so there's nothing wrong with the current market situations. And it's good the bitcoin has evolved has well.

Yeah,but the ordinary people are seeing that large companies trust Bitcoin,so Bitcoin will definitely look more legit in the eyes of the "Average Joe".
Manipulating the BTC price is illegal and large banks and corporations still have to comply with the rules set by the government officials.

This is a very selfish opinion, in my opinion. Whoever adopts Bitcoin should not matter, because the whole point is we are achieving Bitcoin massive adoption by these massive companies, and why fear them for manipulating the market if you could wait for the right moment always to convert your Bitcoin? Also, with massive companies, they could easily promote Bitcoin to the whole world because they have more influence than ordinary people.

For example is Elon Musk, a very simple tweet on twitter made a lot of people to go on FOMO and buy Bitcoin. I think with the Government, it would be hard to do that since they will have a lot of explaining it to the community how and why they should start buying Bitcoin.

Wrong mindset to begin with, yes we understand that those institutions and big companies are taking much of the bitcoins right now but as average investors, we can still get BTC in small portions. Those people who are happy or excited about this are those already have position or already accumulated more Bitcoin, that's why they are excited and eager to pump the market.
You can see some of people like this on social media, just like what I saw in Twitter about talking Tesla and Bitcoin, like how the Bitcoin price will react if Tesla will announce that they are already buying Bitcoin before as company's reserve. It is possible for me and they have also point that it may pump, Tesla is one of the giant companies these days.

I did thought that everyone would appreciate if these big firms entered crypto just as they have done now? I used to read topics in these boards in the past and one of people's wish was to see Bitcoin get massively adopted by individuals, banks, big firms and government coz that would help the price grow. The price has grown now due to their involvement but they can chose to sell or manipulate the market and they own majority share of Bitcoin coins.

They can manipulate the market, they have the bigger amount now which really is scary if you think about it. The only solution is to hodl to your bitcoin even if the price is still increasing because they might be planning on monopolizing the prices by selling them when there is nothing available at the exchanges. I don't agree at all. Big companies cannot manipulate the price so easily. They can influence the price more than individuals, of course, but when institutional investors started buying more than 18 million BTC had been mined already. Also, as price and market cap increases, price is more difficult to manipulate.

I am really happy that they entered the market and I will be more happy if more companies enter. What you are defending is kind of communism where bitcoin is equally distributed all over the world and I don't agree with that. Those who mined or invested early and still hold some have the right to profit more. Likewise, those who invest today have the right to have more profits than those who will do in 10 years time.

The market price will rise and fall anyway, even without the 'help' of these big companies. There is indeed a possibility for these businesses to manipulate the market price due to their holdings but I don't think changes will be for a long run given that there is no one having that huge amount to do so. Also, as from what I have read these past few months, companies adopting this technology are more into taxation because they are third party networks, in general. If if they would choose to enter the 'game', they will be also at risk due to the nature of market volatility. So I'd say it is still quite fair and the only difference of them is having larger amount of Bitcoin, perhaps in this case.

Agree with some stances because ordinary people will buy BTC in craziness as the price is keep in going but they want to be very careful before investing in BTC at this price because this momentum will not keep going the price will surely fall in someday and that's how the market is. It is an open market and we live in capitalism. Whether we like it or not, institutions need to get involved in order to scale Bitcoin globally and promote adoption. Bitcoin supply might get more centralized this way, but remember that there are multiple shareholders in these companies so technically each one of them holds a chunk of the positions.

For the network to function properly it is important that the nodes are decentralized, not really the supply allocation.

People always said that BTC is manipulated, previously it was whales or China, now everyone will blame Wall Street whenever they lose money on their trades. With this logic anything that is traded on free markets os manipulated and controlled by some "elites". But this isn't really true, and Bitcoin has some good example for it. At one point in the past there was a single trader nicknamed bearwhale, who could crash the market by dumping his coins. But at some point the market just absorbed his stash and he went out of the game. Anyone who tries to manipulate such a big market could easily get rekt.

I don't get too excited about all the new companies buying bitcoin, I know the have other motives that revolves around profiting from the industry not minding if it goes down the drain in the process. We know there's no way all this companies will come into the industry and not make their presence felt either via manipulating the market directly or indirectly through creating fomo etc.

Among all that have bought bitcoin of recent (I'm speaking about the Institutional investors), that of paypal was the one I felt a little bit of excitement as their involvement in the industry will be bringing more utilities with time. Firstly they'll be increasing the mainstream reach of the currency and with time they'll begin introducing features that'll boost the adoption of the currency.

Others are just after the monetizing value the industry will be adding to their companies without adding any value to the growth of the industry in regards to adoption and not just price appreciation.

People should be happy because the adoption of these companies in bitcoin is one of the major reason while bitcoin is going up to these extend, because in history of btc it has not gotten to these rate in price before, everyday or every two days bitcoin keeping on adding values, my major concern concerning the increments is that with these measure I don't think someone persons can afford purchasing one bitcoin like before because of companies involves in cryptocurrency and bitcoin in particular, I'm just seeing that all these companies are buying and holding btc, which if my taught is real it will be difficult to buy bitcoin in future if the rate persists by raising the way its currently.
