 Well my friend ,having bit coin wealth is great , but how to you spend it at Walmart ? A lot of banks refuse to accept cash transfers from bitcoin exchanges , Bank of American among them. All the major Canadian banks have black listed bit coin exchanges, you cant buy BC with their credit cards . MBNA has black listed listed all their credit cards even the one issued to me by Amazon.ca .

A few years ago BC was bought and sold anonymously , you can buy small amounts at atm's but even bit coin exchanges are under the controlling regulations of KYC ( know your client) and FINTRAC ( financial tracking) in other words there is a paper trail for the tax man to follow. exactly! because if you will convince them, the usual initial reaction is to criticise what you are saying to them. but if they will learn it on their own and know the benefits that it may bring to them, their adoption is quite easy. let them appreciate crypto on their own accord. i have tried that with my few friends before, not really convincing them but explaining them what crypto is. still they have a lot of hesitations. and look at the btc price now, i guess they surely are regretting that they didnt believe what i was saying before. let those people educate themselves, and adoption will follow.

Mainly, it is about a habit and also rules that are used in the country. We know that paper money has been used for a long long time ago, after the barter system. Paper money was Issued first by China around 770 B.C as source here.
And until now, this is still used by most people around the world, moreover like in my country. there are still so many traditional markets and also merchants so that they only accept paper money/coins for payment method. Most of them don't know about digital money, moreover the generation of old people. It is too difficult to introduce digital money to them.

However, I also believe that the era will be still developing and the use of digital money is now spreading so fast. Banks also offer digital systems and also we can find out many e-wallets offering digital payment and transaction methods. And they can be accepted easily.

I would say it's generation gap if you look at the older generation the still prefer paper currency against the new generation who preferred digital payment method as it's more convenient and quicker way, one doesn't need to carry and safeguard the cash. If we look at Bitcoin and Blockchain system we can see that it's a more transparent and faster way of funds transfer. Actually  we've been using it already for a while now. How you would consider those credit/debit cards we do had? Fiat can go digital and we have already seen that one.

Here's my take on this, any problem that can be solved with time is absolutely not a problem at all. The adoption is not that strong or very gradual in the countries which are under developed and developing. I guess this digital stuff is only applicable for the developed countries with nice infrastructure. How can we consider on not to call digital money in using our Debit/Credit card for ages as of this moment?

Digital Fiat/Digital money is just the same and talking about trying to get rid with Paper money then it would be somewhat on the impossible side of things unless if there would be some implementations but it is really

hard to believe that there would be some total switch up because we know on how paper money is important on some transactions that cant really be done by digital or not really that convenient compared on using
paper fiat.

I agree. Both are important but the trend for paper money is becoming less desirable in settling payments. When was the last time you paid in cash (i.e paper money) for a car or a house? See? These types of larger purchases still rely on digital money (which is still fiat but in digital format with just zeros in each other's bank accounts) right?

In terms of wealth preservation crypto has definitely put a spin on things, needless to say that many are now turning to crypto - the real digital money over fiat because it is way more manageable and transparent.

Oh, I can't wait for the day when crypto payments become the norm.

I think it's not that people don't believe in cryptocurrencies, but the government and bankers who are blocking all of this. until now the world bank can not be side by side with cryptocurrencies. They cannot follow decentralized crypto or blockchain rules. As we know banks move by turning other people's money and making interest-bearing loans. This is why they hate cryptocurrencies, they can't play behind their backs.

that's how civilization works, many changes occur with the development of technology. even now purchase transactions can be done with just a barcode scan, so many are taking advantage of e-wallet or e-banking. especially during this pandemic which makes us have to reduce physical touch with other people or objects that have the potential to transmit the virus.
Currently, cryptocurrency has not been fully accepted, the main obstacle is that it is decentralized, cannot be fully controlled by the state, that is the reason. but I believe one day cryptocurrency will become a very effective payment alternative, the government could improvise by making its own crypto currency.

Digital money may be the other form of Paper money. We have already known about much digital money in a country that is accepted as a currency and payment method.
But digital currency may not be always cryptocurrency, this is different.
So, it is no matter with the digital money and paper money as long as they are accepted and also under the law of a country
