I heard about some problems on RTX 3090 GPUs at gamer forums.
There is no so many information about ETH mining. I found a youtube video abut Zotac RTX 3090 mining. 310 mh at 910w.
Sure, it is possible to get 120 mh per gpu but The fan of Zotac Trinity GPUs RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 makes so much sound.
How about other models ? is there any hardware problem as the gamers reports some hardware problem abot RTX 3090?

the zotac can get to 120+ but you will need run the fans at max and put a fan on the back. The fan blades on the zotac trinity (3080 and 3090) are not fully enclosed, so a lot of air is blown around the fan, rather than down and into the heatsink. There is also a "lip" that covers the bottom part of the heatsink, so hot air can't escape properly (like the msi evoke/xfx thicc2).

Zotac Trinity OC Edition RTX 3080 maximum fan speed is %88 even if you set it at %100.
%88 fan speed is so loud. 230W-240W and 100 mh

I dont have any idea about RTX 3090 and i want to buy a few of them.
2275 USD in my country. I have no any idea about future eth prices.
it is so risky investment.

I would suggest you look for another card.

The other 3090 i have is a palit gaming pro. It is very unattractive but has a good heatsink that keeps the card from throttling.

What is the power consumption and hashrate for Palit Gaming PRO 3090 ?

I have Palit Game Rock RTX 3080 and Palit Gaming Pro RTX 3080.
Game Rock has better cooling than Gaming Pro.
Gaming Pro has better hash than Game Rock.(+3MH/s)

Now, i need to decide which RTX3090 GPU i will buy. The prices is crazy in my country because of the taxes and gpu shortage.

Code:
RTX3090 Palit Gaming PRO : 2186$
RTX3090 Palit Game Rock OC : 2173$
RTX3090 Palit Game Rock : 2146$

I would buy RTX3090 Palit Gaming PRO, but this is a very risky investment Smiley This video card will be relevant in mining and support any coins until it breaks.
But consider the risks of an increase in hashrate or a decrease in the price of cryptocurrencies.

I am going crazy with my two 3090s. Both run at about 105Mh/s. The MSI Triple is the primary and runs without issues, but the Gigabyte secondary either wants to spin the fans up to 100%, or throttle GPU down to 800Mhz, and crank out only 80MH/s. I have tried power limiting, GPU downclocking, and memory overclocking, however could not resolve the issue. I have a healthy Corsair 1200W power supply which previously ran 4x1070s and a single 1080 with no issues. Power draw shows 350W on the MSI, and 250W on the Gigabyte (on a riser). Both have their PCIE power inputs fully populated with clean power. Any ideas?

My 3090 settings :
Core 1050 Mhz@0.725v
Mem 10100 Mhz
Fan 80%

I'm getting ~113-115MH/s @ 295-300W

/!\ 3090 NEED FANS ON THE BACKPLATE /!\ because the back of the card is the weak point and even with a GPU reported @60°c the components on the back will throttle the graphic card because they are too hot.
Look --> https://imgur.com/a/2ONFgGw (That's my PC case mod Smiley )

Without fans, the card will mine for some seconds or minutes then decrease hashrate to around 90MH/s in my desktop

In several versions of 3090 you need fans not ON backplate, but above it. Fan on backplate does not help to remove hot air, it only cools backplate.

on my evga 3080 ftw3 fans on the backplate helps cool down the memory, even though i don't have that thermal throttling issue. 800 rpm fan helped 7 degree celsius, before was 73c, now is 66c.

Yes, you are probably right.
If I had a mining rig with 3090, I would have had FANs on top of the card.
But it's my gaming desktop, so I have 2 fan cooling the backplate and removing hot air (there is some "holes" on the backplate)
I also have the lateral fan of my Cooler Master HAF X to add fresh air directly on the GPU region.

It's fine like this and compatible with my desktop setup Smiley

To Hash or not to Hash, that's what the question

evga ftw3 - 105MHs/stock speeds/ fans 90% manually set, to keep it cool no problems
msi ventus - 107MHs/stock speeds/ fans 90% manually set, to keep it cool, no problems

3090 is not best for mining in terms of a output bang, to my opinion. 3070 or 3080 would be, due to the fact that price is half and performance i slightly less, so best bang for a buck.

How do you get that Hashrate for Vega 64??? Could you give me the configurations?

I am running Phoenixminer, the best I can get is about 51,5. Everything above causes a lot of incorrect shares.

for Vega you should flash it to 56 bios to have tight timings. And use teamredminer
