One of the oldest manufacturers of ASIC equipment Canaan Creative has introduced a miner with an immersion cooling system Avalon A1066I https://twitter.com/canaanio/status/1346042943375777792.

The electrical components of the A1066I are immersed in a special dielectric liquid that removes heat. Mining modules work inside the refrigerant. This ensures quiet operation.

The hashrate of the device is 50 TH/s, the power consumption is 3400 watts. According to the information on the website, the manufacturer guarantees a 45-percent acceleration coefficient.

I wish I had a chance to test it, but immersion cooling mining is such a big level industrial mining for which I don't have a facilities.

A bit confused as to how this works does the module plug into a rack connected to the liquid>. Or is it a stand alone piece.

A bit confused as to how this works does the module plug into a rack connected to the liquid>. Or is it a stand alone piece.

On the specification sheet, it says "Number of Immersion Cooled Units = 90" which means it's a complete package (rack) which you would buy empty and then fill it as you want,  so each unit will be 50th and you can have a total of 50th*90 units or 4.5ph.

The specs are messy and hard to understand, it says each unit is 50th and consumes 3400w, and then it also mentions that the max hashrate for the whole unit can be as high as 7200Th/s and if you divide that by 90 you get 80TH per unit, and then it also says the max power consumption is 306KW, which brings me to think that there are units which are as efficient as 42.5w/TH (based on 306KW*1000/7200th).

Is it just me or these units are outdated and far from efficient given that the AntRack takes S19 pro hash boards which can do 29th/w (on stock settings) so with 306KW you are getting at 10.5ph instead of 7.2ph, there is of course a good portion of power consumption for cooling, but still.
