At that price it will take 140~160 days to ROI. About 5 months. But if prices fall on crypto it could take 2x-10x that to roi.
So its up to each person to decide if the risk is acceptable. I use the same logic i do if visiting Las Vegas...i never bet more than i can afford to lose.

@Novatech
349$ ? Are you dreaming?
@Novatech8
It all depens on your risk. The higher you electricity is, the more you should get best Watt / Hash ratio. And dont forget your resale prices.
Atm i would go for a 3060ti.

What do you mean by the higher the electricity the more you should get? Electricity isn't responsible for the Hashrates you will get from a gpu, power draw is power draw and hashrate is hashrate, I believe you don't know what you are saying

If you can still get one for that price random it's better than buying from Amazon and newegg, the price for one RX5700xt is over 700$ and some are selling for 1000$, I'm sure it's because of miners and Ethereum profits, at 600$ you can get ROI back in just 5 months

Another thing to be worried about is for how long Ethereum is going to remain bullish, the fact is nothing ever last forever and the past crypto bull seasons took placed in few months, things can go south any time soon, make sure you are up for the total risk

It is now very difficult to buy a video card in many countries. How do you want to install these 2 graphics cards? If in one computer, then it is a bad idea, they will overheat. If you already have a ready-made farm without video cards, then you can buy. If you don't have a farm, you can buy 1 RTX 3080 video card for your computer. Don't forget to buy the required power supply.

All OP will need is two risers to keep the cards less heating, AMD GPUs are known to have high temperature, risers is the only way to keep the cards separated from each other for well ventilation, I've seen 6x, 8x rigs with RX5700XT GPUs only

Why RTX3060ti? The card costs over 700$ and the mining hashrate on Ethereum is 51mhs while the RX5700xt can do 54 to 58mhs and OP is getting the card for 600$, which one do you sti think is better? It's better to go with the cheaper card

I remember it cost $400. It`s your decision to buy it or not. Just remember that always after pump goes dump. And no one knows then it comes.

Hi @buraz11, can you please tell us where you bought your RTX3060ti for 450$? I can afford one or two right now if the source is officially legit, also do you overclock the gpu to get 61mhs or that's what you get out of the box?

Was posted to this message board Tuesday morning Newegg listed 600/pcs at $459. They sold very quickly. i snagged one and will arrive tomorrow 1/15 Gotta keep looking and get on the notify lists of vendors.

If you can find it in stock. The 3090 was released months ago and even at a price of $1800+ it is sold out everywhere. As soon as stock arrives it is snapped up.

The 5700 / XT is a nice card. But for max hash you need to modify the bios. In Simplemining my 5700s / 5700XTs show 80 to 120 Watt for 50 Mhs, but in reality they take around 150. The 3060tis (i have 6 different brands) take 125 Watt and all do a minimum of 60 Mhs.
So if you can get a cheap (compared to 3060ti) 5700 / XT - go for it. Otherwise i would always go for the 3060ti.
Besides from ETH the 3060ti can do much more algos faster than the 5700 / XT. Buying a 3060ti means to have a plan B if ETH is done - in a few years....
My hashes on the 5700 / XT are always not stable over 50 / 51 MHs so i kept it there.
