Hello all,

Do you know who should I reach to ask why my thread was deleted from microearnings?

"Remove topic: [Unofficial] Btcmaker faucet 5 to 25000 Satoshis (Referral program resumed) in topic #5307520 by member #1530793"

No message appeared.

I have only one message stating this:

"A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. Posts are most frequently deleted because they are off-topic, though they can also be deleted for other reasons. In the future, please avoid posting things that need to be deleted.

The quoted one was probably removed for being considered low quality by the mod.

Also the topic may have been deleted because you used a referral link and those are banned. Take a look at the forum rules in this board before posting again: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0

I know very well that it's painful if a post prepared is been deleted, actually the op of such thread always be angry but in actually sense we have to consider some certain factors before reacting to deleted thread because their most be an elements of negative reason while such is moved to offs topic or been deleted entirely, may be the post have a low quality explanation or the thread is not suit to the board, so these two things are the primary things that can contributes for moved of topic or deleting of a thread entirely, and remember that if a post is not in accordance with the rules and regulations of the forum it's easy to be deleted by the moderator.

The thread was about a faucet, and Yes I was well aware that a referral link inside would/may lead to such action.

I passed through the similar threads in the section and I noticed that it was full of referral links in the initial posts. (check the most commented ones)

The rules work against lower quality accounts, or ones with low amount of posts. Well, I am reading the forum from 2013...

checking the thread from LoyceV 53M posts! View unedited/deleted posts (search per post, per user or per topic) it seems that there was no referral link posted inside the thread but among the comment, the OP mentioned the referral program is being resumed and started getting commission from it. (I am not sure if mentioning those things are against the rules but if they are that's new for me)

here's the scraped link of the whole thread https://loyce.club/archive/topics/530/5307520.html

Thank you, Acroman08.

Yes, you are right. I posted that the referral program resumed but that is the whole idea of the forum.

When we find something that we think it is good or better than other, we share it here.

After that it is our responsibility to maintain the thread up to date (that is why we can always edit the first post and the topic).

No one stopped you from doing that, you can still do it. It just protects against the best payout not being chased, and if you found something what's the chances someone else will and the forum will be spammed with ref links and threads very fast.

The point of the forum is to contribute to the ecosystem of bitcoin and provide a way for people to discuss things also...

The thread was about a faucet, and Yes I was well aware that a referral link inside would/may lead to such action.

Did you check back with the topics of the other people on that board and were their posts deleted too?

Look at the history of a board to determine whether you can do it (and by history I mean stuff like a month ago) but most of it will be covered by the rules anyway.

Not sure what is the oldest one here https://bitcointalk.org/modlog.php, but there is no other deleted post/thread by search string "Btcmaker", nor it brings any result for active threads with the search string.

Do not know if this is good or bad regarding the mentioned faucet.

What I do want to know is the exact reason it is deleted. If the reason is the referral link, then why there are many other threads where the referral links are tolerated.

Why the thread was deleted can only be told by the one who deleted it, although there are no rules that mods must declare why they deleted something. So at first glance when I look at archived posts, one of the reasons could be in the following :

Btcmaker offers every newcomer with the possibility to skip the first tier and move directly to the second one - Iron tier. What the user has to do is to deposit 0.0001 BTC. The system will automatically upgrade the tier.

As far as I know, micro-earnings do not have a rule that would prohibit someone from advertising a faucet/ptc site that has the possibility of a deposit. There have been a lot of such offers in the past that have turned into scams, so maybe someone’s report went in that direction.

Thank you Lucius,

I think I will rewrite it once I can post pictures.

The value of my post without them was not so great.

I see, I think no one is sure concerning these deletion of thread, it's very clear that before moderator delete any post their most be atoms of tangible reasons which we are not aware of, it's best known to moderator because he knows more better than any one.

The thread was about a faucet, and Yes I was well aware that a referral link inside would/may lead to such action.
What I do want to know is the exact reason it is deleted.
I'm the one that reported your topic/post [personally, I have nothing against you] and one of the moderators handled my report afterward...
* One of the links that you posted, redirected to a referral link.

I passed through the similar threads in the section and I noticed that it was full of referral links in the initial posts. (check the most commented ones)

The rules work against lower quality accounts, or ones with low amount of posts. Well, I am reading the forum from 2013...
If the reason is the referral link, then why there are many other threads where the referral links are tolerated.
Although I see your point, I have to disagree with you...

  • You shouldn't expect moderators to read every single post out there and unless someone reports such posts or those that they read naturally, some of the referral links will remain undetected for a longer period [until someone reports them].
  • If you spot some, take the time to report them [personally, I rarely read threads with a lot of replies unless it has to do with a sport that I support; hence I haven't spotted those that you mentioned [yet]].

[Unofficial] Btcmaker faucet 5 to 25000 Satoshis (Referral program resumed)
Imo, this is the exact mistake you made, you might have mention your referral link anywhere in the topic discussion which is however against the rules. Moderators here never delete posts without proper investigations.
If the reason is the referral link, then why there are many other threads where the referral links are tolerated.
I think you are wrong in this statement, there's no tolerated referral link threads in this forum, if you have found any please do well to share it here or rather you can possibly report it to moderate to delete.

Although I see your point, I have to disagree with you...

However I will gladly share one of the most famous threads that is so obvious that I do not have words for the above statements.

Have you tried reporting it? If you did and nothing happened then my guess is, it has something to do with the "UTM tag" that's in it [AFAIK, it's only for tracking purposes]...
- Having said that, the part that I highlighted in red looks like a proper referral link to me.

Referal links are allowed when it's your own businness; let me bring a quote from Cyrus on the Bitcointalk Discord Server

Quote from: Cyrus
Quote from: Csmiami
well, when I was a CM for a mixer, we couldn't post a ref link in the OPs to check for data traffic, even if the company was ours.....
Wut? That doesn't seem right - I almost always mention when asked by someone that seems to represent a service that it's ok to use a ref code for tracking but to include what it's for so it won't get reported.
