I could have missed it but I wanted to get a feel for what people thought about Wagerr.
Some key points I see:
-At a rediculously low price compared to previous years (in terms of sats not fiat) as are most alts.
- The one thing I lile about this coin/team is that it has a fully functioning betting mechanism that utilizes the blockchain the verify bets and burn and/or mint new coins based on wins and losses. It works flawlessly and eliminates high 3rd party fees and eliminates the risk with sending your coins/money to a 3rd party where it could be locked up for a multitude of reasons or even just stolen.
I think this is defimately a niche coin but has a very nice use case that people are using now.
Anyone have any comments on future pricing for wagerr? Looks like there is limited downside with a high ceiling if it can gain some traction in the gambling community.
Wagerr's Problems :
Marketing is none existent.
Marketing at this time consists of We updated our website and Tell your friends.
Its been in development for 3 and half years and it has been Glacial.
Recently a big update came through and there was no marketing to celebrate is huge event for Wagerr to attract any kind of attention.
It promised transparency on how the ICO funds would be spent there has not been any.
Its been saying for 3 years now a big exchange will be added SOON.
The presence of the Ionomy crew in Telegram that keeps on pushing their shitty exchange with no real volume.
The Affiliate marketing plan that has been in the works for at least 6 months to be soon arriving six months is generous i think its been over a year.
From Discord: "The affiliate though is probably the most important. The details are still being ironed out and hence why no one has really spoken about it but essentially their are two paths. One is just a simple affiliate where they direct betting volume to the platform and they earn a clip of the dev fund. The second is a more professional type setup where someone can white label wagerr or just utilise the chain to offload risk."
Offload Risk ? posting stuff like that just seems so detached from reality. thanks to Uniswap we have a little more volume but offload risk come on.
Several websites where build for betting, angry ex team members told us about them and then those websites just disappeared from view when we asked Cui bono. (Slickbet and another one i forgot the name)
With the Latest updates we are at a crossroads, either there is going to be a real marketing team hired that will push wagerr beyond its ATH of 1 usd with a real sized exchange or it will slowly die out.
But as it stands only David knows what funds are available for that huge marketing push that will be needed so for outside investors its a really unattractive deal at this time.
If there are millions for marketing then Wagerr is a great investment if there are not then not so much.
Moving forward requires open communication about the remaining ICO funds , new exchange with standing and volume external marketing team and maybe the affiliate marketing if they can ever figure out how to make it work.
Thats my 2 cents on it .. I am sure the fanboys will disagree but this is what I see.
