One thing we should understand here is that we are in competitive world, that Avalanche is just trying to gain popularity with these strategies that Ethereum had already gained.

Sure deal this coin is trying to get some attention since ETH already have everything in terms of support. Comparing any project to ETH brings interest to the readers and for sure expect that this project will be check by those who are aiming for good benefits, investors and traders who loves to take chances in any projects that have potentials in the long run.

Still need more research before dealing with coins, old or new project it's still needed to have an in-depth
research and good understanding before jumping into investment.

Why is there a need to overcome Ethereum and can Avalanche surpass an estimated market of 32 Billion Dollars in daily values? I'm not against the project, but I would like to understand why most comparisons involve Ethereum and why it generates a discard idea for Ethereum.

Ethereum has its qualities and a large community.

But do you imagine after ETH 2.0, the miner community will left Ethereum. I predict many coins will try to grow their popularity from that event and its not impossible Ethereum will be overthrone. As i seen Avalanche have opportunity for it, technology feature will be one of considerations of investors to join.

I have made a list of arguments for and against Avalanche surpassing Ethereum:


Reasons why Avalanche will surpass Ethereum:

• Better tech because Avalanche is using Avalanche consensus: better scaling, better decentralization, 4.5k transactions per second and fast transaction confirmation
• It is very expensive to use Ethereum for small transactions currently
• Avalanche is a capped asset (720,000,000 AVAX cap) – Ethereum has infinite supply
• Ethereum 2.0 will take much more time to develop. Plenty time for Avalanche to prove to be better
• Avalanche network is saving energy (green)

Reasons why Avalanche will not surpass Ethereum:

• Ethereum is big, famous and leading, everyone knows and uses it
• Developers won’t abandon Ethereum
• Huge funding for Ethereum

It is hard to beat already established blockchains. Ethereum is already used by both individuals and definitely, institutions widely.
With more improvements in ethereum, it's community will only go up and make ethereum further strong.
Avalanche is also a good project and it can also and with time, it will also make it's own place.

The only thing that can make ethereum lose its position is lack of supporters, if all developers can abandon Ethereum for avalanche then there is possiblity that avalanche will grow over Ethereum and sit in the second sit on coinmarketcap, Ethereum support is just too strong so it's never going to happen.

Absolutely NOT. Ethereum is the birth place and home to DEFI. And DEFI is gonna go big very very soon.

But what will happen if fees are going to explode on Ethereum? Ethereum 2.0 will take a long time untill it arrives. Right now it is already so expensive to use. If you don't are rich and make big transactions for DeFi, fees are around 10%. If you want to swap 500$, fees can be 50$, it is 10%.
At such high fees, it is impossible for DeFi to grow because normal users are going to avoid it. Nobody will pay 10% fee.

I have no doubt it will be big success for Avalanche because users will use a DeFi where fees are low. When Pangolin at Avalanche is live, it will make boom at Ethereum.

Avalanche is a good token in itself but ETH is the second largest cap crypto after BTC. Many DeFi projects are running on the ETH blockchain. It is very hard for any alt to surpass ETH.

If DeFi have their own blockchain technology and didn't use the platform of ETH, then I believe they have the chance to take over ETH but since they are fully dependent on ETH platform, they can' surpass ETH. There's a lot of project that seeks to be on top, even Chainlink, Uniswap, BNB and XRP wants to place on the top 2 position but only XRP was able to do that back then. ETH is rising along with the DeFi project, Its hard to beat ETH on top for now.

I want to say all these points that you have already mentioned here. Ethereum network has already expanded so much that it is not so easy to replace it with some other network. Also, eth is the 2nd largest marketcap in CMC and investors have more faith in it as the mother of all cryptocurrency. I think infinite supply is not a problem as long as it gives profits to the miners.

I want to say all these points that you have already mentioned here. Ethereum network has already expanded so much that it is not so easy to replace it with some other network. Also, eth is the 2nd largest marketcap in CMC and investors have more faith in it as the mother of all cryptocurrency. I think infinite supply is not a problem as long as it gives profits to the miners.

Eth already have the advantage in terms of community supports, aside from that are those teams who keeps developing project using

I think it is good you have found a project you really like but right now some newcomer overtaking Ethereum I doubt that to be realistic. People start calling Ethereum the next Amazon already. Then there is Polkdot and Dfinity about to start the next weeks is also not to be ignored. The community of Ethereum and the ecosystem are massive.

So far, there are many tokens or coins that claim to replace Ethereum. They include new coins that have great power and also a chance to increase. You may find DOT, EOS, NEO, and others. But what? I heard with eth 2 lauch, supply if eth will also be reduced plus many eth will be locked for staking. This will send eth to $5k easily.
Avalanche is not even closer to it. I think dot will perform better than Avalanche after eth.

Ethereum goes to 2 cycles of crypto market, 2 halvings, 2 bubbles and it shows it is a strongest altcoin. Avalanche is young and you can believe, disbelieve it is a promising altcoin, it is your opinion. Although young altcoin tends to look very promising, from roadmap, and early pumps and short waiting time between their waves, times is the factor to verify their quality and power.

After 4 years, one cycle of the market, you can get better view on Avalanche. This project is very young and you are overvalue it. It won't surpass Ethereum next 4 years.

Avalanche can become more noticeable in future, the teams are professionals and you can see that they are fast with development but to me avalanche is a undervalued project presently, for those looking for a hidden gem avalanche haven't show it's true potential just yet
