Imo, McGreggor just wants to make more money, like he did with his fight against Floyd Mayweather, there was no way he was going to win Floyd, at least not in a boxing ring, if it were in the octagon, then Floyd would stand no chance, but McGreggor is of course content with losing in a boxing ring and making the money he made.

Having said that, I think that's the same situation with this possible fight with Manny, it's about the money for McGreggor, I don't think he stands a chance against Manny Pacquiao in a boxing ring.

Of course he does, like any other fighter. Look at Mayweather, he made so much taht he started using nickname "money". All these guys drive expensive supercars and throw money away everywhere they go. They need more to sustain their lifestyles.

Connor is a good MMA fighter but he's not good enough in boxing to win against a top level champ. He lost to Floyd and he's going to lose to Manny.

Most probably, though Conor got his license as a boxer but it does not make him a good boxer.

Even in MMA fights, he is not the best, we saw fights where he was beaten by his opponent, he is just good in making his name popular by him being a bad boy outside the ring,  Manny is an inspiration and I doubt people think of that on Conor.

Well, now it is official. I've also seen an article that says Holyfield will be helping Mcgregor prepare for this fight. I know that Manny will take this seriously and show us an amazing fight and as far as I know, he's been talking about fighting someone and using the money for his country that is affected by a lot of calamities including his pandemic and the typhoons. I think that if this fight takes place, then this time there will be less money at stake, because the effect of some novelty will no longer be and Mayweather and the team are better able to sell such a show, but McGreggor will be able to claim a larger share of the amount for this fight. getting attention isn't always good especially when a great fighter with decades of experience and excellent record fought a fighter with one professional fight which is a lose. sure McGregor is a great fighter in MMA but in boxing, he is still an amateur I'd be more impressed if he started at the bottom and made his way to the top and fights great boxers and I'd be more than happy to watch his fights just like on MMA. the reason why I said it is derogatory is these kinds of fights just shows the sport has become more of an easy money grab for popular people and is lowering the standard of who can fight who.

The difference between a normal professional bout and a cross over fight with one of the biggest celebrity in McGregor is always an attractive fight for any boxer and the market value and the hype made the Floyd fight a spectacle and you cannot deny the fact that McGregor had some great moments in the fight and Mayweather had to take the fight deep and test his stamina which he lacked and then he was able to stop the fight.

After all, i will be happy if Manny Paquiao is able to make a hundred million if he fights Conor McGregor and he should retire rather than sticking around as he has done everything and proved the world and age is catching up.

Manny can surely knock him out very shortly. Connor has no power in boxing but just his mouth only, but I'm not sure if Manny will take his offer and I don't think also if Manny wanted to fight Connor with a such reputation.

McGregor tried his luck with boxing before, and it didn't turned out well for him. My opinion is that he should stick to MMA. And regarding Manny Pacquiao, I guess he is now more occupied with politics. If he want to get involved in some exhibition match, then it's OK. I believe that Manny Pacquiao is always serious in all of his fights and future fights, he got the name and we all know he is the "People's champion", no doubts or reason that he will not be serious in every fight of his life.
I am also a fan of Conor in his MMA career, but I saw his fight inside the boxing ring when they fought Mayweather Jr., he got a skill, I can say, Mayweather for his first boxing fight? Since the pandemic, this kind of match had been happening a lot. This kind of bout is surely for entertainment and money only. This is not a fight to show who is stronger or better since McGregor can be considered an amateur in boxing since this is not his forte. It could be worthy to watch, but there is not much to expect from it. I admire both fighters since they excel in their own fields, I wonder what would be the odds if this match happens.

Both can still fight though, although they are semi-retired, they are willing to do one last dance for the sake of money. Conor needs to win next week, then we can talk about this fight after that.
