Hi all

I bought VET to keep it long term.

Is it better to do VET staking on binance or Exodus or VechainThor?

What is the difference between Staking and Saving?

thank you

Exodus is a crypto wallet I believe, if Yes then it's better to use the wallet instead, if you aren't comfortable using exodus there are other crypto wallets that accept stakings too like Atomic wallet and Trust wallet, the choice is yours

CMIIW. But the relation of wallet to profitability isn't connected. The profitability on how much you'll be staking lies on how many Vechain that you're going to stake.
It is based on my opinion which I've seen for most staking coins. Whether you stake on a wallet or an exchange, there's not that much difference but if I'll choose to stake, I'll put it on a wallet that I hold a private key instead of exchanges even if there's a minimal difference on the percentage they give.

APY for staking is not being affected by what kind of wallet that you have been using it for staking your vechain. You can also use the trust wallet by binance or atomic wallet to staking your vechain.
All of the wallets will be offering the same percentage of reward.

That will be based on here https://thorcalculator.com/

Thank's all

Several people here have told me that the profitability of earning VTHORs does not depend on wallets.

So I made a test...
On Binance, my EFP made me earn 581 VTHOR in 19 hours and 30 minutes.
On VechainThor, my EFP made me gain 242 VTHOR in 20 hours.

Huh? So binance is better 🤔?? That's a good discovery I always thought that staking in wallet will be better but it shows that binance staking is more profitable, are you only into Vechain staking or there are other coins you've staked before?

Binance is the winner here, I think you will get the same result if you use Trust wallet to stake since Trust wallet is from Binance team themselves, I will still stand on my words that staking in wallets is more safer than exchange so try Trust wallet and let's see the results

So you can earn a nice reward from staking. I think you can continue to do that so your amount will be bigger, and when the price increases, you will have a chance to sell it. But I think you need to be patient to sell the coin because the market situations still not unpredictable, and you can hold your coin while you can get more rewards.

in my opinion the best choice is binance or its sponsored wallet i.e. trust wallet, the other vet / exodus choices are equally valid but on binance / trust at the moment you get higher gains

You don't need to stake it anywhere specifically. You can just store your vechain in ledger and it will automatically generated vethor. In addition to it if you are one of the nodes you will get bonus vethor.

Interesting, i will try to do my test to make sure whether there's a different between the staking result on binance and vechain thor.
It seems like i must have moved my vechain to the binance if that's the true story. That's a very good information.
binance gave you almost doubled than what you have earned on vechainthor

Binance has more hash power in terms of node provider so staking there will give more profit rather than other wallet.

@OP, Surely you will earn a lot on binance on staking but the downside was you didn't hold private key of your wallet unlike on thor wallet. If you recally planning to hold your VET, You should store it on wallet that you hold the key.

You have the bet answer already, binance exchange is like no other, if you are worried about losing your assets because of hacks do not worry, binance exchange is capable of reimbursement of any losses and also when the staking period is over move the earned Vechain back into a wallet that you won the private key and keep staking with the rest

While Binance is better than Exodus, it's not better than Atomic as you can see. The only thing that matters is the amount of VET in your wallet. If the amount is 10k or more then Atomic is the better choice. For more, you can check this link I found on google:  https://releaseyourdigitaltalent.com/best-places-to-stake-vechain/ (the picture above also belongs to this source)

It thus look like Atomic wallet VET staking is more profitable than binance exchange ROI, this is good information as I always thought that binance exchange have the highest staking ROI over others, this will definitely come in handy, I just giving it a try to confirm that Atomic wallet ROI is higher, good luck

Firstly, the decentralized wallet is better than the exchange anyway. Secondly, while Atomic has an ROI of %1.41, it varies between %1-3 on Binance(It is written on this site, but in historical data this was not more than %1(historical data can also be found on Binance link)). Nevertheless, do your own research, but also consider what I have said. lol

Can we consider atomic wallet as decentralized? Because I don't know if Atomic wallet is fully open source, I will only accept that a wallet is fully decentralized if it's fully open source, it's why I choose trust wallet over coinomi wallet

Above we were comparing it to Binance regarding VET staking and Atomic is surely better than Binance in this matter.

As far as I know, it should be open source. Maybe I am wrong, but it should be decentralized. There is also information about this on their site. If you know something, I would like to hear it.
