POLKADOT is making a lot of noise right now. What do you think?

What Polkadot need to cement its position at the top is to have a killer Dapps like Uniswap on it, if it can achieve this it is going to attract a lot of other projects. Polkadot is a very promising tech but they need to show they can deliver this, but I believe long run that Dapps will take the positions of Ethereum and all these over valued blockcains because, it is where money is

I believe PolkaDot has a bright future and its a clear treat to Ethereum especially that many users are not happy with the rising Ethereum gas price and If the trend will continue it's not far from happening PolkaDot must put some top of the line innovation so that many users will continue to ride the PolkaDot Bandwagon.

PolkaDot has a bright cause it offers the process of many transactions on several chains and also gained huge community support but I wonder how you consider the coin to be a threat to Ethereum because of gas increase which I still to be fair and will be better when ETH2.0 is total executed. I guess you don't understand that real crypto enthusiasts will still support ETH just like they supported BTC when it had hiked tx fee cause it not always about the tx fee but the project itself.

You should know about Polkadot: it has NO capped total supply!

When BTC is still 21 Million, Polkadot will have much more coins added every year because Polkadot has infinite supply!

Congrats to Polkadot for reaching the fourth rank on coinmarketcap but again it's a shame that only Polkadot make it to top rank on coinmarketcap, what are all new projects doing? We don't have promising projects with determined team members anymore honestly

There are bunch of new smartcontract platform that came but POLKADOT is getting massively exposed due to the big name that owned by its team. It was getting a big name from the member that's also a part of ethereum team too.
It's not something new in crypto when people are massively buying polka to bet into the pump.

I have always believed that, once the team of any project get their facts and features right through making sure what they offers is Innovative, then it would be only but a matter of time for the project to get the attention of everyone; I believe this is what happened with Polkadot. It took the team quite a long time but through constant Improvement of their features, they kept growing and today, occupying a very good position in coinmarketcap while beating many coins to get there. However, I know their next target will be to surpass Ethereum, that is understandable but that might be very tough to get to; many projects who tried for a long time didn't succeed not for any other thing than the fact that in as much as Ethereum blockchain is advanced it is also very user-friendly, efficient and easy to get to by upcoming projects, thus the reason why a lot of new projects keeps starting their development on the Ethereum blockchain. Also, there is no doubt a change in things can occur but the Polkadot team will need to put in more effort while maintaining and upgrading their services as at when due, till then let's see what will become of them in the near future (or maybe end of the year).

There is no doubt the massive investment in dot from the last few days is a main factor of its price surge and on the basis of development Polkadot structure seems positive and capable to achieve this kind of current growth after all Polkadot has made enough trust between crypto community which is absolutely a plus point for dot.

Polkadot are currently growing quite positively, and if it is seen from a profit perspective, then I don't think we have to think about a sudden drop or excessive bear market, because in fact they are currently in a positive trend

It looks like this is still the first wave for the polkadot but another waves will be coming very soon. The pattern shows that the DOT coin will not get a big correction very soon.

Polkadot is a very interesting project, it has a functional platform. But now at the peak, investing in this coin is not worth it. It is better to wait for the correction to make the purchase not only promising, but also profitable. And if you hide it for a couple of years, you can get an excellent profit.

I am trading Polkadot since early 2020 when its price  was less than $5 and every time when i sell it i repent later for booking lower profit. It has shown very impressive performance during the past months and still has lot of upside.

Maybe, it has been very active in the pastime, and it is reflected in the price of DOT, I bought it around August 9 or so, and now I am very satisfied with the decision. Looking at the fact that the main trend is still increasing, the recent price movements are just corrections, like you said I am also very optimistic in the near future the market will continue to grow. And we will benefit so much when it goes up, people shouldn't sell early because they'll regret it later.

It sure has been making waves in the cryptomarkets right now. Surprised to see it get passed XRP and LTC all of a sudden. Even volumes on exchanges are drastically increasing massively. Hope it doesnt hurt us in the long run.

Dont regret that, if you regret it, your buy decision will become emotion decision and its not good for ur investment. But i hope DOT will make another surprise soon since the project future is clear and promising. I want to buy DOT but at this time my assets was stuck on another Altcoin. I hope theres another opportunity to buy another dip.

If you read the story of how Polkadot was born you might find yourself amused. Gavin Wood first discovered bitcoin, then co-founded Ethereum with Vitalik and after that moved to develop Parity where he started thinking that Ethereum, as it was, couldn't survive the future hence he had the idea of developing DOT.
It looks like a very interesting project (alongsinde Kusama which is a kind of live testnet for developing bleeding-edge applications on top of DOT) but I didn't like how it was sold in the first place. I have never been a fan of ICOs and pre-sales.

polkadot is certainly a better alternative to  Ethereum buy it has a long way to go.
Ethereum is also working on many things and rolling out eth 2 that will remove many shortcomings from Ethereum.
I don't think polkadot will get wider acceptility than Ethereum.

if i'm not mistaken it's like the ethereum isn't? i hear a lot of noises too about this project they say it's good project and investment i think i would start reading about this project before investing some amounts. i think this is really good for long term investment.
