I had a similar experience when I jumped aboard the crypto bandwagon. I wanted to get a piece of the trading money quickly so I patronized signal groups and even pump & dump groups too. If you invested 1000 dollars, made it into 1500 dollars and lost money to become 1300 dollars, that means you "lost" 200 dollars but you are still 300 dollars up total. ^ It depends on their luck, I saw in the other thread that someone gained almost 100% profit in trading in just 1 month. There are some traders who are lucky enough that they gained profit in trading, good for them. I think you are talking about investing and not trading. We can all get rich through trading, but it is not that easy. We can talk about how we should control our emotions, what we should do in a certain movement or anything like that but it will all still end up on how you will be managing your funds and your investments.

Controlling emotions somehow applies to holding as well, since like me I usually take a peak in the price quite often like spamming F5 in the price charts since it is being updated continuously anyway.

Yes, but it is funny that most people here said NO. I knew that there were lesser amount of people who purely just keep on trading everyday all day, and more people who like to invest. I like to call myself an investor, I rarely ever buy and sell a coin at the same day, probably do that because I want to move money around, otherwise I would never do that.

I should say I usually keep the coin as much as I can, and check how it is going and unless its at the price I want and not going high, I will not sell it, I would consider selling if it reaches price I want and stops going further high. And I only buy when I have a price for it to drop and if it reaches that price I do end up buying. Plus, I do not deal with low level bad coins that are risky, I usually end up trading top 100 coins and not under, there were few times I found some of them good as well but it rarely goes out of top 100.
