Hello. Unfortunately i has been scammed by 22bet

i made bet for NBA (two players over points) and they changed bet name after few hours - switched players name (i got proof -> i receive mail with bet results)

As they said changing bets name is not in their terms&condidition so this is pure cheat. Is there any way to report them?

Greetings! You should move the topic to Scam Accusations and edit the post to include more information about the website (provide a link to it) and your story with them. Add the screenshots of your proofs (you can blur personal data if there is any) to the post, and this will at least make people more aware of the danger of the website.
If that's the casino , they seem to have complaints from other players which is not great for you as you probably won't get your money back. I'm also not sure if they have official representatives on Bitcointalk, but maybe they'll show up to the accusation thread if they exist.

I search "22bet bitcointalk" keywords in google and I can't find any ANN thread in bitcointalk, so I would assume that they don't have an ANN thread here, and honestly, it's my first time to know the name of the site, normally I don't gamble in sites that are not listed in the forum, or those that has an active ANN thread. Just move this to scam accusation OP so people will be aware of your experience.

You can create a separate thread in the scam section but you need to post screenshots, transactions I have not read that gambling site before, it seems a new gambling site to me, the scheme seems very new and gamblers will be interested to know more about this new scheme where the gambling site is changing the bet and the name of the players, this is very new.

That mail bet sent will be evidence against the 22bet gambling platform, so, get your evidence prepare and open a new thread on scam accusation section of the forum.

These are many lessons i have leaned from this forum concerning strange gambling platforms without reputation, just hearing the name 22bet for the first time. Apart for these gambling platform fairness i don't trust most of them outside this forum, hope you get justice at the end.

This is one of the risk in playing in a new gambling sites, it's double risk since you are risking playing without knowing if you are going to get scam and risking because you are playing in a gambling site, so instead of only one risk you are putting yourself in double risk, unless it's on your nature to venture on a new gambling site, we already have hundreds of good reputable site here, why taking a risk.

First, the OP should move it to the right board as kryptqnick suggested.
As he is a newbie, he can still give images link.
Someone will re-post his post to view the images for easy viewing.
I wonder, why some users will just come here whenever they were screwed by the casino?
Why not the other way around? Check the gambling board first and other related boards like the scam accusations board, before playing any of them.
Even checking the askgamblers or trustpilot - https://www.trustpilot.com/review/22bet.com, will give you hints how they manage their site.



Now, if you read such feedbacks, are you still comfortable to send your money? I don't think so.

OP, unfortunately, no laws or regulations that take cases like that and will result in good feedback.

The best thing you can do is to spread the word that the site is full of crap and scam.

That's one shady gambling site, I don't know how you get yourself found them. And I do hope that they didn't scam huge amount on your end.

There's no way of getting back your btc, the best thing you can do is raise awareness from your experience to this community.

Agreed. If it is an unknown sportsbook that accepts only cryptocoins for deposits and it does not have an ANN thread, do not deposit. Your coins will check in but they might never check out hehehehe.

There are plenty more better sportsbooks to choose from here in bitcointalk like sportsbet.io, nitrogensports.eu and cloudbet.com. I sound like shilling these sites, however, I never had problematic issues using them and I always recommend them to friends.

the op might be new in crypto gambling and also new on this forum . usually newbies discovered sites that we arent familiar with , thats why they ended up getting in problems . we dont know how much the op lost , it can be small or huge but if no one takes action to this site they can continue doing this on other players .

changing name ? how does that work but i think that was not possible to modify any names or bets once the bets made has been finalized . if there were changes made that is obviously their fault anymore . they put it on the rules but they are the one that is doing it

I also wonder why there's still a gambler who gamble on unpopular gambling site where in fact, good gambling site are also available on their country, well this should be a lesson to be learned for everyone. That's a pure cheat and fraud, if you bet with serious amount then you can sue that gambling site but I guess, you'll just waste your time doing that.

There have been complaints about this site and I think that OP was just unlucky to not stumble upon those reviews. I will never in a million years get this people scamming their customer when most amounts are around 1$ to 20$ or so, are they that scummy to stoop that low. It is unfortunate that OP is a victim, I hope that the amount is enough for OP to move on.

To OP, make a different thread with evidence on the Scam Accusations Board or you could migrate this thread to that board.

Can't exactly see who's the authority behind it (the legality whatnot), so I'm afraid reporting isn't going to do anything. The era of the internet literally lets anyone create their own websites, whether it is legal or not after all. They can easily avoid being tracked with various methods, so it's always better honestly to look for where the site is located (their agency or something similar) before doing bets, as well as looking if they have a license to actually work. Simple things yes, but these simple things are the ones that can help you as well as many others from being scammed.

Never heard of a bookie with that name. And with those names that have not been common and known, they usually are categorized into the "avoid" list of most gamblers.
Sorry for your experience OP but I don't think that you'll still get the money you have deposited or even the profit that you should be awarded from that bet.
A lesson that you should learn that only use bookies that are familiar in the community and reputable.

Same here, never heard of this site before. If you are familiar with the forum, you should head to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0 and see their ANN thread, if you don't see a site that was not listed there, you should already thinking that the site is not popular in crypto space.

When we speak of crypto, we have bitcointalk as the biggest forum, so I understand that you posted here, maybe you just discover the forum and you want to inform people about your experience and seek some help at the same time.

That bet is gone now but at least you learned something extremely valuable which will serve you well in the future.You learned the hard way that you will never again make a deposit to a site which has not an ANN thread here and that has not good feedback and reputation.
