History Coldkey (reloaded)

The History Serie is a very particular one.

The idea is that each History Coldkey monthly release represents the exchange rate of a crypto, at that moment.

They are a reminder of the prices Bitcoin and others underwent during some time periods.
Being a collectible, these Coldkeys also serves a practical function.
This collection of items allows you to remember at what price the crypto was,
and compare how much 50€ worth of BTC means on the day you look at your History Coldkey.
In a few months, years...

From now on, this serie will feature a few different aspects :

Bitcoin and Alts :
We are happy to extend the History Coldkey serie to a handful of alts for now.
Alongside Bitcoin, you can now chose among Litecoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Dash, Peercoin, and Chainlink.




Denominations :

For every monthly release, three different denominations will be available.
- eq. 50€; (these will come on plain white cards)
- eq. 100€; (these will come on silver cards)
- eq. 250€; (these will come on gold cards)

Serialization :
The Serials for this release will be made that way :
HISTORY-<year>.<month>.<serial>
(ie. HISTORY-21.01.42 would be the card #42 for January 2021)


(250€ January 2021 BTC History Coldkey)

Availability :
Each monthly History Coldkey will be available on the website from the 15th of a month to the 15th of the next month.
For example, the January History Coldkey will be available until the 15th of February.

Subscriptions :
You can sign-up for a subscription on our website.
In this model, your History Coldkey is automatically ordered every month, and you will receive only instructions for the funding.
You can chose to pause or cancel your subcription at any time in the Customer area.

The Q1 2021 History Coldkey has been designed by Polymerbit.
The artwork will vary for the February and March releases.
The artwork will be completely different for the Q2 2021, as it was until now.

These Coldkeys bear the same security features and authentication mechanisms (UV, 2 AuthKeys) as many of the other releases.

Price : 32 € per History Coldkey, regardless of crypto and denomination.
Funding must be provided on top of the price, in the form of crypto.
The funding instructions will be communicated to every customer this next Friday the 22nd January.
Shipping starts on the 25th January.
Everyone will always be able to double check the funding informations they receive from Coldkey on the coldkey.eu website.

History Coldkeys are shipped to you not funded.

You will find additional instructions inside your parcel to trigger the funding.

They will always differ.
For previous subscribers, you can chose which variant you want for which serial, however the other ones will be serials going forward, first come first-served.

Well, a set can be one of every month going forward, with the matching denomination.
Also, this somehow puts an end to how the serie was since the beginning. (Q4 2019 - Q4 2020)

Yes, figuring out how to handle the serials was a headache. I decided not to fork the "HISTORY-" serial.
So, instead of having .. 21 different serialization of the same serie (and even more if we add more ALTs) all starting with serial #1;
we will be getting into higher serial numbers as the hard cap in quantity per release has been lifted.

FInally, all the cards, regardless of denomination & cryptocurrency, will have a different sequential serial number.
The denomination and the crypto are parameters.

Chose the variation you prefer and you will keep on receiving the serial number you subscribed to.
This subscription is recurrent and charges you once per month until you chose to cancel it.
You can change between variations as you like.

Yes, as we relaunch, I needed to wait until the deadline given to subscribers to see what to do with the serials.
Now that everything falls into order, I started to ship.
I am happy as the work I did when I stepped back now allows for a much faster order processing.

The first batch is already in transit, and the next one goes out on Monday.

You will note more differences in these parcels, between these Coldkeys and the previous ones.

For now on, the releases will change on the 15th of each month.
