I hope this lawsuit will not long last in ripples issue because many people have invested loads of money in XRP which is not a solid deal, and I believe bidens government will have a serious look on it because ripple is a strong and powerful coin in crypto industry.

As XRP has correlated with bank the court will be top priority to solve this issue at the earliest, let's believe everything will go in favor of XRP.

I wish there is a publication about the duration of the lawsuit but doubt there is any, am guessing this will last as long as the sec want it, by doing this they will end up scaring investors away even more, am sure this is what many potential investors are thinking too, the more longer this lawsuit go the more it will suppress interest, better to wait and watch.

This will be a year of battle between this two and for sure, XRP will do everything to protect their reputation and to fight this one, no one will surrender easily though. Anyway, it looks like the panic regarding this news has slowly gone and they are slowly going back to XRP. If you are still a hodler of XRP you still have the chance to make money, do your own strategy and know when to buy and sell XRP.

It will take months to get to the final verdict and right now some of their business partners are planning to stop using them and it will be a huge loss for their business model and some of the exchanges already delisted them.
The argument will be whether XRP is a security or not and it will be hard to prove otherwise.

I don't think anyone can say for sure, because we are not part of the SEC nor the team from Ripple. this concerns both parties. As for seeing so far that the lawsuit won't be resolved in such a short time, it will take very strong evidence, both on the part of Ripple and the SEC. because the decisions that will be taken will have a big impact on Ripple's position.

We are waiting for the next step that will be taken by JAY clinton as the new director for enforcement on SEC. If kay will continues to sued ripple and it may take a year or more to complete the case. You can take KIN as the best example of how long it will be going on. THere's no estimation time about when that will be ended but I'm sure when the allegation will continue and that will be a disaster for ripple.

How is it not a solid idea? Whatever SEC will come up with won't be anything else than paying some fine, isn't it? I predicted that XRP will recover after many are selling off because of the SEC announcement and XRP did recovers, there is more that meet the eye when it comes  to ripple, it's not a small project that can be killed or rough handled because of SEC

There's a lot of project that been attacked by SEC for launching an illegal token sale just like EOS, TON and many. Maybe you are not updated that many project has file bankruptcy because they were force to pay the settlement for the same charges that XRP facing right now.

No one cares about it. The Xrp will not go up until this case gets resolved, this is a sure thing. It will take a long time to see an XRP price above $0.5.. Most likely the price will go under $0.2 and will stay at that support level until the feasible solution of the SEC problem. It has happened on other crypto projects and the market effect was fabulous after the concrete solution on both ends.

I don't follow this lawsuit saga of SEC to XRP but it's possible that it will take a lot of time before this ends. And that kind of ending can be a bitter sweet ending for XRP and a victory for SEC or a victory for Ripple.

No experts here, but yes, if they chooses to fight the case then it could drag for months and years. And we all know that SEC has box this case so I doubt that SEC will win this, just saying.

They are hell bent on fighting if out with the US SEC so the lawsuit might last for months or years.

Just to let you know, about one of the biggest case of SEC against a crypto project, Telegram to Return $1.2 Billion to Investors and Pay $18.5 Million Penalty to Settle SEC Charges.

So the case started in Oct, 2019 and on June, 2020, then settled and pay the penalty, so minimum of six months. So if XRP chooses to go for litigation, this case could be years.

I think this trial will not last long. The executives of Ripple Labs have already announced some time ago that they are entering into negotiations with the SEC over the filed lawsuit. This means that they are ready to at least partially admit their guilt and pay large penalties. In my opinion, this is exactly what the SEC is seeking. If an agreement is reached, the court will approve it and the case will be dropped. The ripple positions can then be restored.

If an agreement is reached, the court will approve it and the case will be dropped. The ripple positions can then be restored.

Well things are slowly coming to an end, I am also waiting for a clear news about the future of XRP in this market. People won't have to argue about it anymore, is anyone believing that positive signals will come to XRP? I am also betting a bit of money on it, in these cases the analysis is too much I believe in luck.

Some say this, some say that; these are all predictions or assumptions, and hence no one knows the whole truth nor knows how everything will end up, thus if you are still investing or still holding XRP, you should be careful of the market because a whole lot can happen within a short time. This is a huge case against them from SEC, and in as much as the team will exhaust all options to ensure they come out victorious, yet no one can state correctly it will end in XRP favours, so let's be careful of what people say out there. Also, I think this SEC case with XRP will compel some other platforms to work according to the regulation set out before them.

If for some reason SEC decides to drop the lawsuit or there is a settlement between them, then yeah, everything might go back to normal. But if SEC decides to go forward with the lawsuit and Ripple tries to fight it back, I am sure it will take months, if not years for the battle to end.
Even if the lawsuit is dropped or they win the lawsuit, the prices might not go back to where it was as people might have already lost confidence on them. So, if you are deciding to go all in before the lawsuit ends hoping that Ripple will win and the price might rise back, think again.

Either it lasted longer or not it still won't stop me from keeping my XRP bag, this is a challenge that I believe XRP team are capable of winning, I've been a fan of XRP for a very long time now and I know many don't like it because it's centralized but I don't care, it's a Centralized project but still make it to top rank on coinmarketcap, that's not a easy achievement, if you are a true fan of XRP now is the time to hold your ground
