in this time of pandemic, people should stay at home and they should only leave home if they were going to work or study or do something that was urgent. Is not time to go to the street to demonstrate and especially when the person knows that the country where lives the number of cases of covid-19 is high and has many deaths and the candidate has been defeated legitimately

There's also the fact that some people just like to get involved in violent encounters, and they will often attach themselves to any protest or demonstration, no matter how peaceful it is, and use this as an excuse to cause trouble. I'm sure plenty of the Capitol-stormers are Trump fanatics, but I'm equally sure that some of them were just there for the chance of mayhem, and would have been there irrespective of the cause. As we approach the 20th with the expectation that violence will flare up in many states, I'm sure these troublemakers will be out in force, and will likely take centre stage in any ensuing media reports of carnage.

Accept it or not but most of the people in the society are so ingorant and stupid with their actions, they simply wanted to follow what others do that is why it is very much easier to manipulate them and leaders using them as their wish.

It's sad to know that some of them just follow what other people do, and don't understand their purpose in doing it. it seems that they are only used as tools by certain parties to achieve their goals. Fanaticism makes them seem strong even from the virus, so they do what they want freely.

Yes. Democracy isn't just a right, it's a responsibility, and this facet is often overlooked. If you have the right to vote and contribute to determining who leads the country, then you also have the responsibility to ensure that you are making an informed and—most importantly— independent assessment. People who can't (or aren't willing to) think for themselves, who don't make the effort to see through biases and deception, and yet still turn out to vote because it's their 'right' are just as culpable in the subversion of democracy as those who are responsible for the manipulation in the first place. Mental laziness on the part of voters acts as an enabler of duplicitous politicians and media.

So pointless just so pointless I agree with you, if you start running around and breaking things and making a huge mess, no one is going to listen to your points. Violence is not going to change anyones mind, only maybe people angry towards you and your ideas. If you really want to convince other people with your ideas you should try a non violent approach and rather change beliefs by talking than by shouting and screaming.

The reason that they are ignorant is because they are raised by a generation of ignorant too. If the cycle is not broken then it will be the reason that a societal collapse will happen. This reminds me of the quote about hard times creating strong men, strong men creating good times, good times creating weak men and weak men creating hard times.

I'm almost 100 percent sure that a crowded crowd can be easily controlled. There are paid people who have dissipated in the crowd, and who have an intentional task. For example, to anger the striking people and send them to storm, for example, the capitol. And when the angry crowd goes forward, these people-provocateurs, quietly go back and "dissolve" into nothingness. So it turns out, there are fools, and there are corrupt bastards who are ready for anything for the sake of money.

If these had been deployed, you wouldn't need hundreds of guards. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzG4oEutPbA

I remember this kind of stupidity when there was some kind of riot happens here in our country where a man was asked why he joined the riot, he just simply answer because he likes to be on the Television. what a dumb way to waste your life and also a man from the same event was asked why he participates in such a deadly act? he answers with a smile, I saw there were many people who join in and I think it will be more fun when I join them and they live happily in the prison together. That was more than 10 years ago but their stupidity still remains in my head. OgNasty was right, those kind of people cannot be underestimated regarding their stupidity.

Can’t wait to hit some people with this shit and find out in 30 yrs that we’re going to have to pay them some massive settlement because it caused cancer. Seems like it might be cheaper to just have a hundred guards, rather then potentially pay out a massive settlement in some amount of years. I hear tear gas is pretty cheap these days. Launch some of those in a crowd, usually makes people disperse pretty quickly.

Good afternoon, Dear Friends! As much as it pains me to say, nobody is perfect in this universe. Each one of us has messed up and ended up committing tens, hundreds, sometimes even thousands of mistakes at different stages of life. Regrettably, many of us barely change throughout our lives, what is worse, we persist in our unwillingness to try to understand viewpoints, different from ours, even when the integrity of our very families and states is at stake. The majority of adults are barely versed in discussing politics politely and respectfully. Think of the outline of the breathtakingly gory and relatively lengthy coup d'état, also known as the October Revolution, that had set apart brothers and sisters, fathers and sons, friends, fellow soldiers and officers, employers and employees. In the end, its ramifications paved the way for the ubiquitous expropriation of all private property by the newly-fledge Soviet government, nationalization of all banks and bank accounts in the country, mass migration, famine, the Red and the White Terrors - the list goes on. As Abraham Lincoln once put it so poetically, justly, and eloquently, 'Every man's happiness is his own responsibility'; I would supplement the citation by saying that as long as people will not condition themselves to make their well-intentioned efforts intelligently, assiduously, and last but not least, in a balanced manner, impulsiveness, lust for violence, and shortsightedness will rebound on us and our opponents. Almost any large-scale revolution leads to devastation, regardless of the political movement one chooses to support and defend - particularly if people deliberately ignore the repeating historical patterns of 20th-century events.

I don't know why rioters do this kind of things? Is it because they had a belief they're fighting for? They can do this in a more peaceful way since riot tends to end up as violent as it can be. Those previous riots serves as an evidence as to what will happen if it does not pacify the people's anger.

The rioting seems to be some kind of new trend lol Anyways it will always end up the same way the people get arrested and all this gives even more power to government to make stronger laws. Anyways its silly and if adult people not smart then they dont need deserve better life Let them suffering then

Yeah, the stupidity of those so-called "fighters". If you asked them why they are there, they even need the help of their "leader" to speak for them, like they are being manipulated for them being empty-minded, having false information and beliefs. But I do sometimes admire the stupidity of other peoples as they have nothing in their minds to bug them, and just live their life like it is the last. Just saying.
