I came across to the reputation section  and see this thread created where actmyname name calling those spammers and tagging them( I truly believe trust system is not made for this type of abuse)

This guy is also over obsessive and abusive, just wondering why their are people tolerate this kind of attacks to the forum users.

Don't politicize bitcointalk for your own agenda guys if you want to help this is not the best way to do.

Share your though's guys about on what he's currently doing right now since I think this is not so right.

Their must be an agenda for doing and that is to make his name standout among other users here in future signature campaign.

Stop being a fucking timelord with ridiculous redefinitions of trust vocabulary... "tagging", "abuse", as if he was using red trust. He's using neutrals, which can be used for anything including labeling spammers. Very useful for other users who may come across those shitheads.

Yes I am as the one he marked me disappointed. . here I've tried to improve the quality of the post .everyone has their own ability to have an opinion in giving an opinion. if it is based on facts as well as on topic it should not beconsidered spam.


I asked the moderator to reconsider @actmyname to become a DT again, because he was too naive to give a lot of users which he considered spam. Today who does this by finding fault with people can get merit and survive the campaign he is participating in. this is no longer an open secret

If not, well, the best thing to do is prove actmyname wrong by writing better posts. Then perhaps he'll reconsider his rating.

actmyname neutral tagged a lot of accounts but only a few of them very aggressive protest against them. I would not be surprised if it was one person behind many of these accounts.
btw. Because of this drama, I add actmyname to my trust list, to help them to stay in DT selection.

There's nothing wrong with actmyname or that thread of his.  He's been fighting shitposters/spammers for years now, and hopefully that doesn't change anytime soon.  I don't know if you've noticed, OP, but many of the posts written in certain sections are just plain gibberish, and spamming really is a problem that needs to be combated.  Fortunately we have the merit system in place to ensure that shitposters can't rank up and earn more money for posting their garbage, but before that was the case it was actmyname and I who were battling said shitposters with the trust system.

If you're not on his shitlist (I didn't check), don't worry about it.  If you are, take a look at the quality of your posts.  People generally don't get accused of being a garbage poster by a senior member unless they really are.

Since you didn't check, you're not aware of the irony: everyone on the shitlist has already been reported. They're on there because they've been reported. A lot. 50 times at least. With good reports. Meaning, forum removed their posts because they were so bad.

Do the same!!!, hunt spammers, report them, get merited and you might get into "the campaign" !!!!

Take it as some sort of constructive criticism. If I were in your shoes. I would work so hard to improve on my post quality then after 6-10 months, I would invite Actmyname to check my improved post quality, thank him for giving me an eye-opener and then humbly request him to reconsider removing or changing the neutral feedback. That's a far better approach than ranting about the neutral feedback on your profile.

If you are on this blacklist, I would suggest making many posts that are well thought out, over many weeks/months, and maybe your name will get removed, along with the neutral rating.

I've got no problem with actmyname's work in cleaning up the forum and trust his work even when his enemies have attacked me for my DT trust of actmyname. ( E.g. Foxpup )

actmyname will always be welcome in the Known Alts thread.

When actmyname's list and subsequent neutral ratings were brought to my attention I found a couple of the users in some of my Signature Campaigns - checked out one user in particular who had over 200 posts deleted in the span of a week.. A super-spammer in other words.

There were mentions of the lord previously in this thread and you got that right - actmyname is doing lords work which brings no personal gain and for that I salute you, actmyname.

I don't think it's abuse. The list contains usernames of people with over 50+ posts of them getting reported and got removed, so pretty sure that only spammers get their names in there. Without such lists, it's impossible to keep track of spammers or to recognize them. Any user having 50 or above of their posts as reported and genuinely those posts getting removed surely is a signal that they are posting garbage posts. While there can be exceptions, but in general most of them can be called as spammers. However, I don't think bounty hunters should be considered as spammers because generally they stay in their own space of the altcoin section and don't really spam in other topics.

Personally, I would be very happy for many of the members to act like Actmyname. The forum would be much cleaner and spam-free.
I looked at the feedback he left for some of the members, and so far I haven't come across any that were undeserved.

Actmyname does a good job in this forum so that she knows better which spam posts should be blacklisted, and I don't think this is abusing her strength as a DT but she deserves to be a DT because she has done a lot of research with multiple accounts that spread spam.
I think there should be no envy in us if we know there is a list there then we can think how not to do spaming again in the future.
This forum must be clean from spaming.

I don't get you OP, you could also be meaning that campaign managers who have blacklist for participants to be restricted from his campaign is also doing the wrong thing in the forum? Can't that be referred to as improvement strategy on some rules violated users while that could keeps discipline them in a way or something.

You could understand that so long as those users are not tagged with red trust, it's not something to report about, it's a way of doing some neat work in the forum,
In an instance, everyday, the forum has new visitors, of which that is taken lightly, the visitors will become spammers and shitposters as well, so Actmyname is doing the work for future users to come on the forum to avoid being spammers.

I am sorry you feel the way you do but you will find it hard to have even one user to agree with you. What makes you say actmyname has politicised the forum for his agenda... and which agenda are you referring to?
