I want to try uniswap for alt coins but don’t m is where to store the uniswap cyrpto at. The site I am on I can’t transfer back to it. I was thinking of trezzor wallet but  it it only allows 1000 tokens right now and not sure if the ones I want will be allowed to put on there. I am a super noob . Please help thanks .

If you are gonna try to use uniswap they only supports erc20 tokens. You need to download wallet that support such as metamask, trustwallet, imtoken, and myetherwallet. If your exchange wallet doesn't support that tokens then it wouldn't reflect on your account of course.

All tokens on uniswap are erc20 tokens so just do my suggestion and you are good to go.

You can't store ERC20 tokens in Uniswap because it is simply just a place where you can instantly exchange ERC20 tokens without using any order book and it is very different from most of the popular centralize exchange you encounter such as Binance, Kraken, Coinbase and what not. In order for you to use Uniswap, you need to have a wallet which supports ERC20 token for you to able to make a crypto deposit and eventually connect Uniswap to your preferred wallet.

Fortunately, Uniswap supports numerous wallets which you can use to easily connect to the DEX, store those token and be able to trade them immediately.

The site I am on I can’t transfer back to it. I was thinking of trezzor wallet but  it it only allows 1000 tokens right now and not sure if the ones I want will be allowed to put on there. I am a super noob . Please help thanks .
Check the website of the token you want to transfer to see which wallet that supports them.

As others have stated, metamask is a good option. One thing you can say about ETH, having things like metamask and uniswap makes Bitcoin feel like outdated technology. It’s a shame that Bitcoin has had it’s superior technology limited to make the user experience fall behind these competitors (or not-competitors if you are on the store of value greater fool train). Back to the topic though, give metamask a shot. You’ll be surprised I think with how simple and user friendly it is.

The question is why token or coin are you planing to buy? This is the best way to guide you to the right channel, you can use Uniswap but it's not entirely safe for newbies like yourself because scammers have fake tokens listed on the platform, assuming you plan to by a token called FLUC, scammers can create a fake FLUC token and list it on uniswap

Do you know what smart contract is? This is the only way to know which token is the original and which one is fake, if you have a name try to ask the team on their telegram group what their smart contract number is and make sure its same with the token you want to buy on Uniswap.

If you are using a laptop or computer, you can install the metamask addon in your browser and you can enter the metamask by connecting your Erc20 wallet to Uniswap using the metamask. and for mobile users, you can use a Mobile Wallet such as Trustwallet, Imtoken and several other wallets that support DApps.

If you want to start on Uniswap, you have to be careful with the number of scam tokens that are almost the same. the only difference is that the smart contract is used. Make sure the smart contract is the same as the original token, so you want to buy it.

Another problem at Uniswap is the very expensive Gas Fee.

70-90 Gwei- this is a very small price.

I trade very often on uniswap. There is no way to trade if you have a few hundred dollars, because you will spend most of your profits on commissions.
I am using metamask and ledger wallet. All my money is stored in the ledger wallet, and I use metamask as an interface. You can use a Trezor wallet or any compatible one.
The hardware wallet offers the highest security.
The cheapest ledger nano S is suitable for trading on uniswap.

I believe he is talking like every low fund traders that buy few hundreds.Just like some of the new defi projects that have small cap and will only demand small amount to purchase on Uniswap. Besides, sometimes transaction fee goes as high as 300 Gwei for the small amount purchased, so they struggle with the DEX.

I've used Uniswap a few times to get my hands on some obscure coins before they go to market. I'm sure I do it in the least convenient way possible but it works. I use Trust wallet as I had it previously. I've only ever done this from my phone.

From Trust wallet on my phone, I go into Dapps - Since the latest update Uniswap pops up near the top of the list. Either you click on that and then search your coin from within Uniswap, or you can paste the URL for the coin you are wanting to buy - Smaller tokens only exchanging on Uniswap usually have their Uniswap pairing link on their homepage.

Things to consider with Uniswap is you hold your ETH in your wallet the whole time, you are just creating a transaction to trade with whoever is providing the liquidity to the pairing.
Keep an eye on the gas fees, as there are times where it can be much more expensive to trade, no different than ETH in general.
Some tokens/coins don't show up in your wallet once traded, you may need to add them as a Custom Token - Google how to for your wallet.

Always be careful and be sure to confirm the contract address for the coin you are purchasing.

Do a bit of googling and watch some videos. Anything you do not understand you should research so you have a solid base moving forward.

yups you're right about that. The current transaction fees may still be normal, but when the ethereum network traffic starts to get congested and many transactions being processed, the GWEI price will get more expensive, another cause is when the Ethereum price starts to rise. that is still an obstacle at this time.
traders with a balance of thousands of dollars may not have an effect, but if traders only come with a regular dollar balance, the 300gwei gas fee will be very expensive.

Take a look at the BSC platform, the fees required are very cheap.
