Digital gold, Bitcoin! By the way, it’s much more convenient to go out with a bitcoin than with 20 ounces hhhh。
True. You cannot trade things with gold locally. Acquiring gold put you more in danger than with Bitcoin. You cannot posses 20 ounces of gold with you or you might get robbed or get killed for it. Bitcoin win no matter what because gold can be faked just like what had happened in China just recently.

BIG WINNER!

I have pointed out this many times. Comparing 1 oz with 1 BTC is not the right comparison, because the unites are not the same. Why don't you compare 1 BCT with 1 kg of gold? Anyway, just to show the increase in the exchange rates of BTC, it is fine. The proper comparison would be between the total market cap of Bitcoin, with that of gold. So it works out to something like this:

Total BTC in circulation right now = 18,620,006
Exchange rate = $37,626.75
Market cap of BTC = $ 700,610,310,761

Total gold that has been mined till now = 197,576 tonnes
Price of 1 tonne of gold = $58,030,107
Market cap of gold = $11,465,356,420,632

Soon this situation will change, be sure of it. After all, the price rises constantly.
It's not actually rising constantly but rather gradually or over time since this is an open market everything can happen and sooner or later comparing gold and Bitcoin is almost like nothing since the price gap is just too close or it might even surpassed it. But today's price it's just a start of cryptocurrency adoption and the more bigger institution joining to adopt Bitcoin the more likely that Bitcoin will going to surpass gold price and I wouldn't be surprised if one day 1 ton of gold is equivalent to 1 BTC. Can you imagine that?

..

Chart from https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/bitcoin/xau

Bitcoin is going to challenge Gold as the digital store of wealth

In the 2013 run up, 1 BTC = 0.67 oz of Gold

During the 2017 bull run, 1 BTC = 15 oz of Gold

1 BTC = 20 oz of Gold today

Impressive, isn't it? Bitcoin is performing better than Gold, yet most people don't realize this. Serious investors and bankers still believe Gold to be better than Bitcoin because of its high level of trust/confidence in the mainstream world. Despite what anyone thinks about Bitcoin, the decentralized and censorship-resistant nature of the pioneer cryptocurrency has lead it to where it is right now. When knew that Bitcoin would become worth more than an ounce of Gold nearly 12 years since its inception?

Believe me, Bitcoin will be worth more than 20 oz of Gold in the future as the block reward cuts in half every 4 years. The pioneer cryptocurrency will become scarcer than ever, surpassing Gold in every way. After all, no one knows the true supply of Gold in the mainstream world. Ultimately, Bitcoin will co-exist with Gold as the best alternative to traditional Fiat. Just my thoughts Grin
