I have a good feeling it will reach it's new ATH this week since three years ago and with this it will a be start of the alts season based in my opinion. As bitcoin hits it's new ath and of course ethereum won't be lift behind with the bull seasons on the rises. Congratulations to ETH holders time has come to rejoice then, do I only have little hold but it doesn't matter.

Yes the previous ATH was $1,432.88. According to TradingView, Ethereum just passed that price level on 19 January 11:56 UTC.

Ethereum did show a pretty positive signal earlier this week. maybe ethereum will hit a new ATH this week if the bitcoin trend continues. btw, I saw for a while at the data that the CMC showed that the peak price was $1,428

For sure it will break it's ATH, and it's about that time, we have been waiting for the alt market to make it's own bull run and I said that it should start with ETH. I'm not sure though if it can double like what we have seen in BTC. Bitcoin has change it's narrative that's why the price suddenly shoots up, maybe $1800-$2k will be a good gauge in the next month for ETH. So let's see how this bull run will go and this is good news for altcoin market.

That is a surprise to me because finally, ethereum can lift the price and break $1,400 again. Ethereum price will increase more than the current price, and I think the price will have the possibility to break $1,500 soon. I do not just want to hold ethereum because I see the chance to profit from the up and down of the price, and if I can make a profit from that, I am sure that I can do that repeatedly think my profit will be bigger. But I wonder how deep the price will be if the price is down.

The more expensive Ethereum is, the more expensive are the transaction fees in dollar terms.  Expensive gas is indeed a problem and will certainly scare off a lot of newbies.

the most i hate is, i have invested in a lot of games, when i bought it , the eth was low so i payed good amount eth to games , like Gods unchained get 18 eth from me, this mean i put  25k ( atm) in this card game, hell no i will get my eth back if i sell my cards.. this was a simple example have more games ...

and the biggest annoying part is , when i was investing , a good friend of my he told me not to do it , it was wasting my money , but i was stubborn .. and now he laughs at me ...

It was expective because the Ether price within the week was hovering around $1200+ so the All-time high price record is an inch away so the bull was present the entire week thats, why the new highs were achieved now, by the way, the more interesting question, is how long Ethereum will hold its price gains? and I hope it will continue pushing its price up to the $2K level if possible.

Yeah we are bless by eth ath, even the high transaction fee is not a problem as long as eth keeping recording new ath, we are all please to hear this  ,
i think now that there is a new record we should expect more on gas fee right? although i haven't transfer anything since yesterday so i don't know if it has reduce or increase,  anyways, it has already being speculated that eth will surpass the previous ath so am not surprise, this is just the beginning, my only sadness is the former.

ETH could become the next bitcoin and Vitalik could become the world's richest person considering amount of ETH he has pre-mined. However, despite all the positives, ETH transactions are becoming really expensive day by day and all tokens built on ETH blockchain are getting harder to mobilize. If it keeps on increasing at the same pace, ETH may become unusable because of the transaction cost!

i know right ?! things are getting worse, almost like bank fees and taxes, it's like we are slowly going that way, exchanges and other platforms asking for KYC to use them, if things keep getting worse, there would be no difference in using crypto over regular paypal and credit cards.

High gas costs will always be a problem, especially for small traders, they should think twice about making a transaction there. In my opinion, It's a big problem that Ethereum developers need to solve right away, If the developer doesn't act immediately, traders will look for other alternatives to make transactions.

In a month, Ethereum will make a new ATH, but double isn't possible in a month. In a few months, Bitcoin will take another correction. Ethereum can't make bullrun without Bitcoin. After the third quarter this year, Ethereum could make a double pump.

It looks like bitcoin is out of power and it's now altcoins turn to shine, I thought bitcoin will have to hit 50,000$ before Ethereum surge up to a new ATH? Anyways this bullseason will last longer than that of 2017 I believe so let's keep gearing up

I don't think it is suprising that Ethereum broke ATH. The crypto market has been bullish for weeks leading to 2021. Was I expecting this to happen sooner? Yes!! There are many reasons for Ethereum’s rise,  the first is DeFi.  The total value set in various protocols is approximately $25 billion.  Companies use the Ethereum network to build applications and smart contracts, which increases the demand for Ethereum. Also there's the emergence of Ethereum 2.0 which offers a solution to high transaction fees and slow network. These factors must certainly played a role in the rise of Ethereum price.

its not about trading on exchanges, but like the example i gave before about Gods Unchained game,  if i want buy a card that cost 0.000001 eth , i pay gas around 0.025 eth ... not doable ..
but we will see where this will end , the noices about eth2.0 will bring a solution for this , but then when will this come ? since 2018 / 19  i am waiting for it ...

The new ATH is not too far anymore, we will easily reach the new price. More dynamism is needed only in the altcoin market. Recently, the price has already reached the desired consistency. The only difference is that some (best ones) altcoins barely break 2018 ATH while BTC price doubles. But we are in a good position compared to 1 week ago, hopefully, prices will grow as time passes.
