Noticed some activity by mister space-x & tesla himself Elon musk with some tweets since the middle of the month discussing about a currency system.

https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1349977642708168704

Also found this kind of funny Cheesy

He is specifically talking about bitcoin because just a few days before he was saying in a similar tweet he would like to be paid in bitcoin some day. Grin

The more people who recognize the value of a non-state sponsored currency and store of value like bitcoin, the better it will be for everyone in the world.  Letting control-freak power-hungry politicians have complete power over money is like letting two wolves and a sheep voting on what is for dinner.

I don't know if the news is true or not, I heard Elon hodl some BTC...
many think that Elon just makes doge and bitcoin as a joke *so that Elon is nicknamed the king of memes but behind it all, he definitely buys some doge or bitcoin for his fun.

BIG WINNER!

Elon Musk is a very innovative guy. Not only due to SpaceX and Tesla.

He is a paypal founder. This person understands about payments, internet, innovations, and knows how to make money with it. there are even some theories he could be satoshi.

I am a big fan of him.

I made a small research about those tweets you shared and foudn this:

Quote
Musk, responding to the chief executive of MicroStrategy, a business intelligence company that has attracted significant attention in recent months by buying over $1 billion worth of bitcoin, asked whether it was possible to convert billions of Tesla's dollars to bitcoin.

A week later, Musk, who wants to make a manned mission to Mars a reality in just a few short years, tweeted a future Mars economy could be based on cryptocurrency, such as bitcoin.

I mean, he's the richest guy on the planet, no doubt he'd like to be paid in BTC, not because he's a greedy man, but because he knows and he was specifically pointing out BTC as a currency that is would likely to become the most reliable currency in the future, think about being the richest man at the age of 49, that's how smart and innovative of a guy he is, + he is good at throwing memes, he's definitely an out of this world person, and the best part here is choosing Bitcoin, definitely a smart move, he moved in and invented SpaceX, made another move inventing Tesla, and now, he's planning to utilize the potential profit that he may get with Bitcoin.

I'm pretty sure that Elon is going to surprise all of us soon disclosing a huge investment in Bitcoin.

Elon Musk recently opened up and admitted he tried to sell tesla to apple in the darkest days when it seemed as if he would never get tesla running. The CEO of apple refused to take a meeting to discuss the sale.

It would seem Elon went through some adversity to make tesla a success and felt insulted when Michael Saylor proposed denominating tesla stock in bitcoin. That feeling when you put blood, sweat and tears into something. Then some random says something which seems to trivialize the sacrifices made. That would seem to be the only reason Musk said anything negative about bitcoin in the 1st place.

Elon Musk has always been an advocate of bitcoin and crypto since day 1 and never really wavered in that.

we should know where he's coming from. sometimes people are judgmental to other people, even without knowing the truth behind such act. everyone can express their opinion but should be a responsible one.
let us not make this as a big deal but be happy that one of the wealthiest individuals on this planet is acknowledging the presence of bitcoin.

Like Jack Dorsey, Elon Musk has always been a big fan of blockchain and cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin and Dogecoin. So it doesn't come as a surprise to me to see him discuss currency systems. It also won't be a surprise to me when Bitcoin gets integrated to Tesla products and services. Musk is a smart guy and he knows that there's an incoming financial evolution that would make fiat obsolete in the coming years. So it's best to stay with the winning team.

I don't follow his Twitter, but from what I saw, I got impression that he always been positive about crypto, blockchain and obviously, Bitcoin. So' I'm not very surprised to see him posting about Bitcoin. And I think that endorsement from person like Musk means a lot.

I'm not so sure if Elon is really interested in Bitcoin. Sure, he has made tweets, questions, and statements regarding Bitcoin but as far as I've observed, those statements, questions, and tweets are more of sarcasm than unequivocal show of support or belief in Bitcoin. Even Elon's question to the most industrious Bitcoin shill, Michael Saylor, was more sarcastic than serious.

Quite frankly, we seem to have already reached the stage of pronoia in this Elon-Bitcoin narrative. We are finding and reading pleasant and encouraging hints and signs and meanings where there is none. It seems we very badly need to have Elon jump on the bandwagon in order to prove a certain point.

Yes, I know of Elon's escapades into owning up to being the CEO of Doge coin. Cheesy
I had a post with a magazine cover of a doge on it with elon's name next to it somewhere. Wink

Saylor did reach out to elon on his twitter for an invitation to join him on his podcast to discuss about bitcoin. I don't know what became of that but I made a post about what I managed to find out so far.

By almost it still means its better than fiat. I think he's feeling some regret for knowing about it and not putting a lot of money into it. If he did that instead of tweeting he'd have much more fiat now to spend on his cars, rockets and women.

He's right about that error and latency. Fiat money is either slow or requires third party like a bank or paypal to be sent. Secure fiat is not fast - you have to give cash to someone. Fast fiat is not secure.
Bitcoin is fast and secure but it's not cheap to sent. If it has a weak point that's it at the moment.

Why did you leave this tweet out? It is his latest about bitcoin.

starting to warm up?

"Bitcoin is almost as bs as fiat money"
https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1340588909974200321

Now, I`m not a expert but it seems to me he is not warming up to it calling it almost as bullshit as fiat.

You bitcoiners sure have a retarded backward thinking mind set.

Well the truth is, it is not almost as bs as fiat money, it is as bs as fiat money. A frozen pizza is almost as good as a pizza stores, but their both still pizza or bullshit in the case.

Now why would he say that?

Probably because central bankers still win.

Who will have all the coins in the end? Who will have most of the miners? Who will charge you enforced tax AKA network fees and obtain all of the coins in the end now matter how long you hold, the second you make a transaction the central bankers get your coins.

Bitcoin is as bs as fiat money.
It runs off the fumes of fiat.

I don't know what became of that but I made a post about what I managed to find out so far.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5310818

I Also see on official Dogecoin twitter that says "Dogecoin is an open source peer-to-peer cryptocurrency, favored by shibas worldwide. Elon Musk thinks we're pretty cool. [RTs are not endorsements]" https://twitter.com/dogecoin  Grin Grin

IMO Elon Musk is playing with crypto, at least from curiosity. I cannot imagine an innovative man like him not to have any coins, minimum to play with. But I don't expect any big public crypto move anytime soon.

This guy has some different thoughts about his future and he's very clear in his investment plans on buying BTC I think he wants to change his entire business payment via BTC because it gives him multiple options on making profit like you can buy goods on based on market price well if this goes smoothly I am sure he will again become the richest person as the future of BTC has been massive.

Elon is very clever and business tycoon without any intent he won't say he wanted to buy/ sell goods in BTC, think about it guys.
