Old blockchain nmemonic - its possible to recover?

i have some old blockchain.info accounts mnemonic (from 2014, 2015) - i forgot/lost identifier and password and now when i try recovery i saw my old mnemonics are longer as blockchain use now
because i an newbie i have some question:
1. old blockchain mnemonic = seed ?
2.its possible to recovery my old blockchain accounts with this long mnemonics?

i tried on https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ but site say: word X not in wordlist  ...my wordlist is not 15, 18,21,24 long, its like 16,17 word long
any help is apreciated, thanks in advance

i checked my old blockchain.info backup and their recovery phrase used to be 19 words long. you may be missing a word or two there. i say may because they changed their system a couple of times!
also if you are having trouble with a specific word, you may be typing it wrong.

i googled a little and i can see others wanting to recover saying they have 17 words. mine is for 2 or more years ago and it is 19 words and these days the new version is 12 words! so they have changed it around a lot.

my guess is you wrote down one of the words wrong. check the spelling versus the word list.
also try contacting their support team: https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us

i can't think of any other reason. maybe someone else has any other ideas.

Meanwhile, seeds with approximately 16-18 words are very difficult if the sequence is missing or there are 2 words missing. and cases like this have a nearly 20% chance of success.

I think this is mostly because their seed mnemonics could be anything from 15 to 21 words and their wordlist was really weird almost 50000 words.

We have backward engineered their source code from 2013/14 (now removed from their github but we found an internet archive partial snapshot) and are able to find the mnemonic seed even with 2-3 words wrong or missing
