quite surprised to hear the amount she won was $60 million.  in my country, this kind of money is enough to buy hundreds of mansions.  in the midst of this "PANDEMIC", their win is a great gift, but what amazed me was that they (her and her husband) always playing the same numbers for 20 years.

After playing the same lottery numbers for 20 years that came to her husband in a dream, a 57-year-old Toronto woman is $60 million richer.

Their patience  and persistence did really pays off and imagine on betting for 20 years without stopping with having that constant number combination then its already an impressive thing that had been done.

Even we do know that lotteries do have 1 in a million chances but still they do able to hit it up which considered to be luck as always.This amount is indeed big which is enough

Picking  numbers  basing  of into those  important date of  your lifes is really just a belief and doesnt really give out precise reasons on why it should be chosen since this lottery all matters with luck.I agree that this is really on the psychological aspect on where people do believe that they will able to hit those numbers on choosing on what they do believe that they will come out or shall we say that those lucky numbers that they do believe.Its true that this isnt only limited in some countries but also in all parts of the world where these government or national lotteries do happen.Lots does have those kind of hopes.

Its not strategy but just purely make out some random guess and sticking into those numbers.No specific strategy that can really affect someones odds on winning a lottery.

One of the reasons on why I don't buy up tickets due to low odds of hits but since tickets aren't really that expensive or even an average joe can purchase on then they can

Usually, old school players do this kind of method.
I did before. It just bored me when I was not winning for years.

Still base on luck, however, I've read some articles specially previous winners of lottery, that they don't change their numbers for many years, meaning they are going to stick with it through thick and thin and that is the 'secret' sauce.

It will, mathematically it's possible but twenty years is just too much patience, you will spend a lot of money and you have to increase your patience and persistence over the years because it will accumulate, I have not seen so much dedication and they are rewarded with the top prize in the lottery, they've recovered what they've spent over the years, and their story is a good example that waiting patiently works, even as long as twenty years.

The odds of hitting of the jackpot in a lottery are very slim, whether if it's random or the same number you have been betting for several years it is pure luck. I know some people who bet in the lottery daily, which I think had been part of their daily routine which most likely happens to those who bet regularly in lotteries. Here in our country, some people have a habit of betting for a particular number everytime they bet on the lottery. They treat it as their lucky number and won't stop until they hit a jackpot from it. My father used the same trick as her but he only does it on small prize lotteries where you need to predict 2 same numbers correctly. Gamblers love some jinx on their gambling habit, they think that it affects their chances of winning.
