1INCH Speculation/Discussion Thread

since the end of december there is a new type of dex exchange aggregator that allow aggregate all of the liquidity and pricing data from all major DEXes so that users can get the best prices and lowest slippage for their trades.
i find this new type very interesting and also see a lot of potential in it. moreover, the own 1INCH token is still in a good price range to be able to buy cheaply.
I would be interested to know who of you has invested in this project and how you see the future of 1INCH.

I bought some 1inch tokens on Binance https://www.binance.com/id/trade/1INCH_USDT and hope bulls soon...
I hope this DeFi token will make a good profit and not become a hype token. *let's watch together whether this token will be big or not in this year

The fact is that uniswap is the best place to swap tokens now (the cheapest). 1inch aggregates multiple swaps but ... uniswap has bigger volume (liquidity) than all other swaps together. Its like aggregating liquidity from binance and ... hotbit. I used at least 10 swaps and its best to use uniswap currently. With <10000$ swap, gas fees are killing the purpose of aggregating (dunno why but 1inch, paraswap fees are always ~ x1.5 the uniswap fees) and with >10000$ swaps uniswap liquidity wins by better slippage.

Many people invested in 1Inch as part of SFP giveaway quest. So, the price is reacting to it too. Wondering - the price in 1Inch after quest ends(31 January)?

What makes you think its cheap? What analysis did you use?

i have not done any special analysis in this case but i think and i have a feeling that 1INCH is doing a similar development as Binance...
this kind of aggregators have in my opinion a very good future if everything goes smoothly...

I appreciate it and think that it is actually quite an important factor in the recent thriving DeFi, there are many projects listed above and the trend to use DEX becomes more. I bought myself some to keep it too, considering the current situation I think it will go up in price because of the general trend of the whole market, but personally I have confidence that it will soon. rise strongly in the future.

The fact that someone has good product does not means that its token is cheap. Lets try with this:



Well .. you were right. 1inch is in fact cheaper than uniswap or sushiwap in terms of marcetcap/valume ratio. The worse deal is balancer. Burger swap looks insane. 20 times cheaper than sushi. Any ideas why?

I added here BNB just to show that defi bubble pushed everything defi-related up in to the sky and it does not fall to the ground yet. I mean like 10-20 times. I know its different technology but in the end its all about user-base. Swap codes are open source. Its easy to copy/pase and start your own swap, so can binance do.

BTW even metamask has build in aggregator.

I saw you can stake 1inch. Where does rewards comes from? From inflating or from fees?

1INCH has enjoy its time so far in the light but I think it will be difficult for them in future. I think all these aggregators now are enjoying because the space is not competitive enough, I believe in future project will start treating their competitors unfairly, people will say this is against what crypto stands for but love of money is the root of all evil. This is probably the one project I missed the most in 2020. I learned about it after the dread of DeFi exploded, and people also used dex more, which is a pity to give up. Through good opportunities, my friends advised me to use it because it really has great potential like uniswap. And I bought it after seeing it start trading on binance, so glad it's still a profitable investment, according to current trends people use DEX a lot for 1inch or other dex will thrive in the near future.

I see we even hit 10000 sat. Nice pomp. 3x in 2.5 weeks. Looks like defi bubble might not say final world (at least with projects that have value - big dexes)

after yesterday's dump to below 8000k, the price has now reached the 10k 11k sats mark and will thus reach a new ath - the tradingvolume amounts to ~530BTC

The fact that someone has good product does not means that its token is cheap. Lets try with this:

They would have a positive correlation: better product, more expensive.

I think it would be like this. If you find a project with good products (same quality as some others) but have cheaper price, you might find hidden gems. If you invest, price can rise and help you get profit.

The worse deal is balancer. Burger swap looks insane. 20 times cheaper than sushi. Any ideas why?

If it is true, Balancer price will be corrected and became cheaper.
