@zikzik, very clean presentation in the first post.

I do not understand Basketball and also do not understand handicap betting. I tried to study handicap and I think I understood how it works and then again forgot lol. So please consider these two things if I present them wrong or write something which will read poor :-P

Just to be clear I have not looked into the case very closely yet but after reading the first few posts what I get are:

1. BetBTC changed their terms (for pre-match bets) from 20 minutes threshold to 30 minutes and did not notify their users.
2. They do not void bet less than 0.01 BTC

BetBTC should inform their users to accept when there is a change in their terms.
I do not see any bet that were voided which is 0.01 BTC or lesser.

Sorry I read only to this post (first response of BetBTC).

By the way, can anyone clarify why the bet was voided in the first place? Sorry about the amateur entry. I am still progressing to understand the case.

Betbtc have a strange rule.

If the odds for your bet move more than 10% in next 30 minutes after the time of placement, then they void your bet. They claim that they void bets if odds move 10% even if the movement was against your bet.

''BetBTC may cancel or void bets which it believes have been:

(a) incorrect lines - example: pre-live bet which after 1 minute is quoting 10% below of the settled price - BetBTC WILL NOT cancel bets placed longer than 30mins ago AND also Live Bets do not apply for this point;''

Weird rule at least.

Yes weird, but if this is the rule and if the client accept it when they signed up then it is what it is. If I do not like it then I will not sign up with them (who the hack read all these terms and conditions when signs up LOL). Anyway, thanks spyrosc200.

So, the case is with the bet that has been voided.

As I read the change in terms has been made from 20 minutes to 30 minutes. @BetBTC have you sent any notifications to all of your users to agree on the new terms?

If not then cancelling the bet after 25 minutes is wrong from your side. Your clients were not informed so when they signed up they agreed on 20 minutes not 30 minutes. And considering this, cancelling the bet after 25 minutes instead of within 20 minutes is not helping you in this case although the current term is 30 minutes.

- This user cashed out 1.2BTC+ in a 4-month period. No issues were raised in any withdrawal.
This is not relevant so let's not talk about it and waste energy on less important things.

Well initially their TOS WAS 20 mintues , they voided my bet which supposedly the odds changed after 30 -40 minutes . So i contacted their support to ask whats going on and why they voided the bet , they said it was an error on their part however went and changed the TOS  to 30 MINUTES . At that point ALL SPORTSBOOK users should of received a notification email about the change of TOS because I am sure there are thousands who have now been scammed due to this silent change. I ONCE AGAIN URGE THIS COMMUNITY TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND FILL OUT A NEGATIVE FEEDBACK OF THIS SCAM BOOKIE AND LINK BACK TO THIS THREAD.

Not doing anything yet. In fact, not sure if I should do anything only considering this case (Only one so far. I hope I did not miss if there are anymore accusations that are serious). But I would like to hear a response from BetBTC about the term changes thing.

By the way, I am still open. Maybe I will make a conclusion after knowing their input and how they defend this.

I think its relatively clear from their previous responses they simply do not care that they are cheating their users on their daily basis. They think its normal to change the TOS without notifying their existing clients. How long do you think its acceptable to wait for their response before making an official negative trust feedback on their profile? This is the only way to stop this cheating bookmaker.

Hello again,

Quote
They think its normal to change the TOS without notifying their existing clients.
We don't change the TOS on a daily basis, however from time to time any service have to make small changes to ensure it protects against abusers and exploiters (you in this case). Fortunately it's possible to confirm this, via an available snapshot of our terms page in the waybackmachine (see them here).
The terms were updated probably just 2 or 3 times, in a long period of 18 months, which once again goes contrary to your accusation.

Additionally, and contrary to what you are trying to falsely accuse, this update of our terms wasn't made by surprise: As anybody can see below, you have been noticed via email that the update was being enforced with immediate effect, on the email it's also possible to read that all the previous bets being challenged were switched to winner

Still, you are crying more than 1 month after, and seems that you were expecting that we will keep voiding all your future bets perpetually because we have changed the terms on 6th December - sorry it won't happen.

To conclude this point, even if all the above facts have not occurred, you still couldn't call this a scam, as you agreed with this clause of our terms:

BetBTC may revise these terms of use for its web site at any time without notice. By using this web site you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

Quote
I think its relatively clear from their previous responses they simply do not care that they are cheating their users on their daily basis.

This topic already stinks, in case you haven't noticed it's only you and your duplicated accounts around, there is simply no "users cheated on a daily basis" because no one is scammed at BetBTC. More than 200 active users are using our service on a daily basis, using our campaigns, bonus, getting paid, etc and still you don't find no one else complaining, only your professional complainer's accounts.

Quote
How long do you think its acceptable to wait for their response before making an official negative trust feedback on their profile?

This behaviour you are having is truly a shame, not only you are trying to degrade BetBTC's public image directly without valid proof, as you are also challenging others to do the same, without having any real reason for it..

This all sums to the point that you are just mad because we haven't voided AGAIN a lost you had of 0.09BTC - this is no scam, but in the other hand you are truly trying to blackmail us.

--

We won't keep feeding this sh*t-show. In case anyone wants to know more info about this case, please PM us or use our support channels.

Best regards,
BetBTC

Wow - what a response from a so called legitimate BOOKMAKER? - I am glad you posted the PROOF that I had to contact your support about your attempt trying to steal my money and by voiding a bet and breaking your own TOS. After I EXPOSED you - you went and changed the TOS to 30minutes ;-) - its a shame you got caught red handed....  Just answer me this 1 thing please.. How many people DO NOT contact your support about their illegally voided bets every single day and how many users do you scam out of their money?  Yes you informed me about the TOS change after your scam attempt, but did you EMAIL ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS to notify them of this TOS CHANGE?

Secondly you claimed once again that the people who are posting on this thread are my "other" accounts , where is your proof of this? EVERYTHING i have said i have backed up with SOLID proof, videos, screensots etc.

This topic really does EXPOSE your lies & fraudulent activities and you should have NO PLATFORM on here to advertise your services. I am CERTAIN that it is just a matter of time before other users of this community will unite and file a negative feedback on your profile.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=253453;page=iflags   <--- USE this url to ensure this scam bookie is removed /flagged from advertising here.

This thread is so hard to read. The fact that the sportsbook thinks they are in the right shows the sad state gambling with crypto has gone into.

Gamblers code is you accept a bet and lose you pay. Your terms of service and the way you have handled this thread has stopped me from signing up to your sportsbook.

If OP is truthful that you cancelled after the game started your site should be blacklisted.

I would urge you to consider rewriting your ToS make it fair for both, Not just the sportsbook. You should also take out the .25% withdrawal fee, I don't understand why you need it. Replace it with .0004BTC or current fee charge.
The more I think about the way this site is structured the less likely bigger gamblers will join. I'm looking for a pinny replacement to bet with BTC and unfortunately at this point BetBTC is not it.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. I completely agree with you that this bookmaker should be blacklisted here and not allowed to conduct business as most of the users are at risk to being scammed just like I have been. I truly hope more bitcointalk users will contribute their opinions of this bookmaker in this thread and we can bring this to the attention of the administrators.
