To date, no altcoin for me looks too promising and safe for investment, except for Bitcoin and Ethereum. At least 2021 will have the best results for investors and this moment must be taken advantage of. But once Bitcoin reaches its ATN, it will need to monitor other top-rated cryptocurrencies to make the right choice. But not Ripple.

Yes, uniswap is a good option as it is the most dominant defi and dex platform so buying maybe 1k worth of UNI would be good, with remaining 4k i suggest to buy trx for 1k eth 1k and btc 2k to really hold a dream portfolio.

If your choice in altcoin, ethereum is the best choice for you to invest. or you can try to do an analysis at the top of the marketcap ranking, there you can get information about the development of tokens, token prices, exchanges and anything so you can invest with $ 5k in the right coins and still get profit

Top 10 - 20 aside from XRP, it's tough but doable if you pay attention with your own analysis, there are many project around
this market which are potentially brings decent profits.

Considering the current price of UNI and also its price chart. Many indicators that tells UNI was already overbought and might correct soon. I'm not implying that UNI is a bad investment but entering right is not a good move since it recently pump hard that cause to be overbought. Waiting for the correction is the best way to invest on this coin. Rushing in on this coin might give a huge loss in case the price go south.

However, If you truly wants an answer, why not put your money in ethereum? It is the safest, strongest and most elegant coins on the market. Uniswap is also a good coin, but it is not safer than ethereum

You don't know what to do with your 5k USD, so you don't have experience. My advice is not stuck in any hype projects. "Buy low to sell high" and don't invest in any coins. 5k USD is enough investment if you are a good cryptocurrency researcher. Buy any top 10 coins from all 50 altcoins. Your risk will be low and return will be this year.

But the beauty of that is that there are a lot of knowledgable people on this forum, and why would they either promote a shit coin or not promote their own as it is in their interest to want their own coin to be bought.

Same with all the youtube gurus, some of them have the power to add 10% to any coin overnight, scary... I watched one the other night with a title like "these coins are about to explode" and I checked them out, and they exploded on the same day he released the video...... (right after it basically) ha!

I should probably invest in polkadot or ethereum. Their market trend and status is so promising. Polkadot shows a great price increase in the market and consistency while ethereum is doing its finest to really become green everyday.

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is behind this project and it is good alt to invest in 2021.
Will give huge returns if someone hold it for a year.

I think you should do your own research about which coin you are going to buy, people here would suggest their coin but they are not a financial advisor, you can get tips from all of us though. One thing I can recommend is don't stick to one coin, it's much better to divide your investment to different coins.

The point regarding diversification of investment in many altcoins, I agree, because it is quite a risk if we only rely on 1 Altcoin as the preferred investment. I myself observe that every mention of these people becomes a point to become an investment preference. The average also gives them their reasons for choosing the altcoin. with a large enough Op capital I think I can choose at least 5 Altcoins

Diversification is 100% the right answer here. After all whatever you end up buying could go up or down and there is nothing better about it compared to others, sure btc/eth type of huge ones could be pointed better than the others, but even in that situation you shouldn't do purely just btc/eth because that would limit your movement.

I would say whatever coin one would pick, they should do that depending on their own research and when they do their own research they should probably go with the ones they like, but have at least 10 coins they invest into, you do not have to do it right now, you do not have to rush it, you should probably do it slowly, if you try to find 10 good coins today, you will have to rush a lot, do like one coin per week and it will take 10 weeks. Plus invest with 50% of your money, the other 50% should be invested over time so that you could buy cheaper if one falls.

If it is only altcoin, ETH is pretty much advised but don't forget that Bitcoin is like your sure win to earn aside from the alts emergin in the market.
5k dollars is already a lot in my country and looking where I would invest it well I would invest it to Bitcoin first before I consider any other altcoins in the market.

Hmmm people saying bitcoin at this time, I like Bitcoin but at this time the Bitcoin market is going down so I wouldn’t really say it would be a good choice to go for until everything has cooled off and the market is at its least price, you can then start investing at that time and hoping for a better time when you will sell it.

Unless you are going to be trading in this market daily, if it’s not going to be that then consider another investment in the altcoins’. Uniswap that you mentioned is good and is among the top Defi projects that are really a great choice this time.

in my opinion btc and eth has the best option for a long terms holding and the other alt coin no one can give a guarantee for a long term hodl not to all altcoin but some coin has very good but if you have a 5k$ you need to wait for big dip in bitcoin and eth so that will give a very good opportunity to 2x or 3x your money so my suggestion is wait for big correction and take your advantages form that dip . and i see the dip is very near because every time we see after breaking all time high we see a major correction in every signal coin so wait for dip

How can we force others to think like ours? We all have our different thoughts about our experiences. I won't invest my 5K or 7K USD in top altcoins. You know cryptocurrency is now volatile and it will stay like this until this year, risky investment will be more profitable.
