Study the movement of bnb, ada, dot, xlm and ltc. Those coins are belong to top 10 cryptocurrency. Those coins are showing a great potential to dominate the market. Look at their trend or price history, you will notice the market progress foe the past few months and until now those coins are not stopping to become green everyday. You should be the one who study the coins you will invest in so that you will be the responsible for what outcome you will have and ofcourse for you to learn and gain experience.

The best investment for the long term is ethereum. currently ethereum has largest volume on the market than any other altcoin.
And ethereum is smart contract that new altcoin projects are always using.
So there's no chance that ethereum will die. Even if the price goes down, one day it will definitely go up again.
Different from other altcoin when the price drop after that they are discarded by some market and do not have any value

I personally am looking at adding Uniswap to my portfolio, currently I only have ETH and LTC. Can't go wrong with putting money into ETH as its definitely a lot more stable with still a lot of potential. However, I feel like uniswap isn't a bad place to invest either as it has more upside with still a solid backing behind it.

There are a few coins that I see are still quite low and can fully increase in the near future, if you have heard of Verge (XVP) I think it is an option that I am extremely optimistic about. But since $5000 is such a large amount, if you want to be more secure you can choose for yourself the big coins in this market.

You should just go with the cryptocurrency market which is on the top 10 on Coinmarketcap since you will be investing a big amount of money, its better to be safe than to be sorry later on. $UNI might be good but it wont give you that much and there's no assurance on it. If you will be investing try to just go with Bitcoin or if you want an altcoin, you can go with Litecoin (LTC) These two are ofcourse in the top 10. At the end of the day, its still your choice. DeFi market is good but most of the time its just about depending on the hype of the investors. |

I will go for Bitcoin. Bitcoin remains my first priority because all eye are on bitcoin right now. But if you think you already have missed the train then you can go with ETH, XRP and BNB too. Buy any top 10 coins from all 50 altcoins. Your risk will be low and return will be this year. You can invest $5000 in these coins. Still you need to do a proper research before any investment.

It's better if you'll select top coins so you'll have an idea about their possible movements. BTC will be pretty good option for investment. Because BTC is The top privacy coin and decentralized and all eye are on bitcoin right now, everyone wants to get a piece of the crypto coin. On the other hand Trading at Uniswap is a little risky. Because Uniswap has a lot of fake tokens. But you can invest in ETH, LTC, DOT or any other CMC top 30 altcoins.

It's on you, no one is going to tell you to invest in an altcoin or not but the only advice I can give you is make sure you invest the exact amount that you can afford to lose, right now almost all out coins are at their all-time high so it is more risky to invest in them invest only what you can afford to lose , that's all |

I’m just saying look into these because they are largely not mainstream yet. Anyone can say buy top 50 or 100 coins. No shit they are visible. You’re not going to get huge returns on something like that unless you’re already rich. If someone investing 5k they likely are trying to discover something that can go 10x or 100x not get something that has already done that.

Top 5. An investment firm would be interested in getting coins that are at least on the top 5-10. They have been looking into its volume and liquidity but about the use case, I don't have anything to add with that. Grayscale is investing a lot in cryptocurrencies and after buying a lot of bitcoin, they're diversifying in alts. Other than ADA, BNB is another good coin that I see with the increase that I've seen in bitcoin. It didn't go back to $300. |
