It is commendable that someone is trying to bring some positivity to the freak show that has become of the altcoin boards. Plenty of members have it on ignore and I can't say I blame them.
In any thread where there is a chance for users to earn merits, there will be attempts to try and abuse it. You might want to think about some basic rules. Like a deadline where you will be considering only posts written until a certain date or the time when you created this thread. That would keep cheaters from seeing your merit giveaway thread, creating a few alt-accounts, and applying for merits after a few decent posts.
agree, but I do not want to put deadline prior to the post, since this is a kind of incentives for users to share their opinions on Altcoins in the future, nevertheless, I will try to look at each post that is submitted and post history from the user, and incentive users that are sharing good and quality content
