I started a free-to-use and open-source project aimed at consolidating BTMs on a world map. There are a lot of services that do this already but none are open-source and all require BTM owners or operators to pay monthly retainers to be listed on their sites. I wanted to change this model.

Operators and owners can add their ATMs to the open-source repository for free to be seen by the world live on this page.

Would love to hear feedback on this project.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Seems decent enough, but how do you validate submissions to check if they are legitimate?  If anyone can submit a location and link, people could just use this as free advertising for their business even if they don't actually have a Bitcoin ATM on premises.

Are going to build an alternative of https://coinatmradar.com/?
You know what tou should add? Option or something that will proof that there is an atm by the address. Because on coinatmradar, it is often marked as atm, but in reality there an office where you exchange fiat to crypto, or a place that accepts crypto as payment.

This is a good point and I haven't figured out counteract the system being abused. Any ideas? Cross-checking on Google to see if they have verified the BTM in a certain location is one way.

- Implement filters (search by country, state, city, and maybe even cryptocurrencies if these ATMs support alts as well).
- Unless you're planning to add all sorts of business that accepts bitcoin to the list, you probably should remove the ability to submit links. I personally don't see any point in it, but if you decide to keep them, then at least check if they're up and running first because I've gone through a few of them, and apparently, most of them are down.

As for verifying the legitimacy of these locations, then why not ask the owners to submit pictures? That would obviously require you to manually check all the submissions but it's still a good way...You could even add these pictures to the ATM details page.
