The other one (without s) has even this same subpages.

I think users should just learn about basic security practices. Double-checking the addresses is not that hard. Buying a domain might cost you from $100 to more than $1000.

Sometimes users do not know what they want and then the one with better google-positioning wins.

Domains are an expensive ones too, the best way is for the original website to create a unique identifier for his website and to warn them with about fake websites. This thread is also helpful because Bitcoin users can be using this to find legitimate services.

Some fake dude contacted me via Github mention because last year I searched for details on how to recover the spending pin of the Schildbach Android Bitcoin wallet.

He offered the following contact email address: walletsrecoveryservice@gmail.com (beware, it's a copycat!)

I nearly have overseen the subtle differences to Dave's legit contact address. As I cracked the spending pin myself, there was no urge to fall into the trap. I was almost writing a nice greeting to Dave when I did the proper checking of the contact address. Bummer, bloody fake pretender!
