Better understanding about the forum Plagiarism

Have seen some plagiarism accusation raised on this which led to some user account permaban but I have a question of the plagiarism situation of this forum so not to be among the list that will be reported for plagiarism.
According to what I understand about the © owner rules and regulations every article, content, or news with creative commons licensed (cc) can be copy, edit etc.
Does the forum also consider the content from a site with creative commons licensed plagiarism?
How many % of content copy from © licensed is considered to be plagiarism?

[TIPS] to avoid plagiarism

There is no clear definition on how many words or percent of words in your posts are copied & paste AND without the source links (or you intentionally to hide source links to steal the contents and make it as yours).

Remember the key to avoid plagiarism is to be honest:
- If you use documents, phrases, paragraphs that are not yours, use the source links, and the quote blocks.
- Don't hide anything and try to play innocent when your plagiarsim is detected.
- Don't try to spin text, paraphrase, steal local documents and use Google translate and make faked posts: it is plagiarism (if you don't leave source links). From my perspective, even with source link, aforementioned behaviour is still bad.

Plagiarism is when copying from another site or platform their contents or article or writeup and include such in your article or post on this forum or any other site, I know you know that already. That is stealing of another person's online content and claiming it to be yours which is against the rules of this forum, anything you copied from another site, be it picture or writeup, you need to include the link, even if it is one or two lines you copied, you need to include the link, if the link is included, then not against the rule because it is no more plagiarism.

Always include the link, even if it is only one line you copied or you copied only a single picture from another site irrespective of its copyright.

In 2019, a lot of accounts were banned for plagiarism. Even one sentence completely copied without changes fell under the copying rule. At that time, a plagiarism search machine was working. If you go back to messages from that time, you will see that many accounts were banned then.
No one guarantees that one day such a check will not be repeated.

You cannot just copy an article from the Internet without providing a link from where the article was copied from. It doesn't matter whether it's a paragraph, a sentence, or the whole thing.
You must enclose the copied in quotation marks, or add a link, and you can also add ©.

If you are copying information, just show where you got it from. If this is a lot of copied materials, then post all sources.

You can not engage in paraphrasing the text. Do not copy and rename the text on your behalf. You cannot copy previously published posts from the forum.

All this is very easy to detect. This will protect your account from being banned.

You need to distinguish plagiarism from copyright infringement.

Plagiarism is presenting someone else's work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement.

We are in a forum where people share their information. Why do you want to copy and paste or even plagiarism? These things will not help you get merits. Many posts get merits even though they are less than a line.

ranking requires Merit + activity (any post)
There is no reason for plagiarism and when you want to quote someone's words, put a link or use

If you copy someone's post or somewhere from internet and post it as your idea is what the plagiarism stands for or atleast you will be banned for it.So as others said when you are copying something then don't forget to include the links.

And my opinion will be always better to put inside the quote tags and express your own thoughts about it.

Many newbies took this as advantage and copy half of an article and paste the link below without any actual thoughts from the one who created it which also maybe treated as spam and you will get banned.

FYI, those account that punished by permaban are those user that blatantly copying word by word somebody's post and article without giving credits to the original owner. It just requires a common sense to understand what type of plagiarism does forum avoiding since many user are just doing it to for signature post requirements and merit.
