Everything good in crypto space are now having fake and copied versions, websites, crowdfunding, duplicate projects, fake tokens, etc, it's why the best thing for you to do if you are a newbie is to accept the fact that You Are a Newbie, taking steps yourself means you are trying to act smart, crypto space is not simple as you may think, before making any steps Do NoT Hesitate To Ask Questions, remember, that's why this forum is running..

Better Do not forget to use search engine rather than asking a multiple questions that has been discussed many times.

Read and Learn as much as you can first, don't create shitposting/spam/off topic or post in a topic that you don't mastered/interested.

crypto space are now having fake and copied versions, websites, crowdfunding, duplicate projects, fake tokens, etc,
It's why you need to ignore those shitcoins and stik to BTCitcoin only since it's not fake and scam.

DYOR (Do Your Own Research)
That's needed for newbies to do if they've seen projects that they're interested in. And the above post is right that you're free to use search engines, you'll see results that will be much helpful for the research if there are bad reviews or scam accusations which will already determine if it's worth it to invest for that project or not. Thus, invest only to bitcoin and altcoins that are noticeable at the top.

the best thing for you to do if you are a newbie is to accept the fact that You Are a Newbie
You are not meant to understand the entire cryptocurrency space within a short space of time, learning takes time and everyone starts off as a newbie before growing their knowledge base. It's good to make inquiry and also to do your research, but there are some actions you shouldn't be taking as a novice.
Someone who gets introduced to Bitcoin and jumps to ask 'how to buy?' is doing it wrong, the best approach would be to inquire about how Bitcoin works, learn the basics and grow from there. This way you're less likely to fall for scams as you only attempt things you have a good knowledge on.

When it comes to crypto or anything that involves money, it's OK to be paranoid and extra cautious. Always look at the detail before performing any transaction, the devil (scammer) is sometimes hiding in plain sight.

Better Do not forget to use search engine rather than asking a multiple questions that has been discussed many times.

People also ought to use their brains and be extra careful. I have seen a half a dozen guides on google search that are created by scammers to mislead newbies

I know a guy that isn't newbie on trading but literally newbie on bitcoin. There is a difference and if you are well equipped and knowledgeable on trading, its kinda work whether you knew or not the one you trading. So depends on the newbie either he should or expand his knowledge on bitcoin knowledge or simple basic is enough cause he is proficient already on trading using charts, pattern, and etc.

What kind of newbie you are, If you knew this then asking additional questions will limit the problem or idea you need to be good on this industry.

Everyone knows where they are lacking a particular knowledge, he is good at trading but he doesn't know anything about bitcoin, he is still a newbie at bitcoin, still won't safe him from using a wrong exchange or getting scammed if care isn't taken

Indeed, and not only guides, but even the ADs on top of the first page when you search for forums/projects/wallets/coins have been reported as scams!! so better ask here if in doubt, even if the question repeats plenty of times (that is the purpose of this Beginners & Help subforum, isn't it? to help and get helped).

We all have been newbies, most of us got scammed in some point of our learning curve, and we all got help at some point when we needed. So it is good to share some love with the new members and be patient with them.

This is not The case for some who to them are knowledgeable everywhere, they believe in one principle and that principle they take to everything they do, they are the rushers, the faster than their shadows movers. Crypto-currency may not fall in line pleasantly if you use principle used in any other thing on in, learning is not to be shaft

There is hardly no questions about crypto that haven't been answered before on this forum, it's better to tell newbies to be more friendly with the search engine on this forum instead of creating same topics over and over again

my idea is join bitcointalk or forums that are known for crypto topics and more also with a bit of research first why? because lots of the member here almost know everything, also the advantage is that high-rank members can give you advice, for example, you need to know something, by creating a topic, we can suggest or give you a piece of advice regarding your topic, it will give you an insight about your question.
