Nowadays I mostly use trc20 because transaction fee is mostly free in some exchange while others charge a little,  the only problem is, not all exchange support the trc20, so before using this option I suggest you check both the exchange for assurance they both support it, waves also has less transaction fee and also very fast as well.

You can try to use USDT TRC20 and i have sent 9k USD yesterday and it only cost me 0.2 USD as the fees and my transaction was getting delivered just in less than 2 minutes.
TRON is the best alternative chain for the ripple. you should never use ripple again as it was getting delisted in so many exchange sites.
You can also try to use Tron native coin to send any amount with small transaction fees and almost instant confirmation.

or you can use dogecoin to tranfer from exchange to exchange, besides cheap dogecoin has more stable value too

You can try to use USDT TRC20 and i have sent 9k USD yesterday and it only cost me 0.2 USD as the fees and my transaction was getting delivered just in less than 2 minutes.

I'm not a fan boy or anything but telling people not to buy XRP simply because it's been delisted on exchanges is nonsense, if XRP wins the lawsuits which many people like yourself think they will fail then those who dumped will lose out big, those exchanges delisting XRP are US based, they have no choice

You can check Doge too. I most of the time use Doge when the transaction is small otherwise in the big transaction I don't care about fees of 5-10$. Doge transfer fee is very nominal and it will not pinch anyone's pocket.

I do agree about Doge, the fee is not that much. @OP, you try as well to use Nano if you haven't heard about it. Well, for XRP transfers just make sure that the receiving end can sell XRP to the exchanges that still have it.
$5-$10 isn't that much if your transactions are around $1000 and above. I wouldn't also mind paying that amount of fee if the transaction I'll do is more than $1,000.

You should try other altcoins like Dogecoin, Litecoin and ADA. I think they have lower fees.

You should try other altcoins like Dogecoin, Litecoin and ADA. I think they have lower fees.

ADA is still quite high compared with DOGE or even ADA. Litecoin is good but it's not so fast as ripple consider it needs at least a few minuers or even more for the exchange site to confirm the transaction.
The scalability that owned by litecoin is not so good too.

USDT on tron network seems to be the most cost effective cryptocurrency in terms of the transaction fees right now since ethereum and other crypto networks are highly congested and capabilities of less TPS per second compared to Tron Network.

But you can also try Doge which is also cheaper and available on kore exchanges than Tron USDT.

You are looking for the lowest, DOGECOIN is definitely the lowest, it may not be the fastest but it will take time for your transaction to confirm. Of course, XRP is the fastest but the fee is quite high compared to other altcoins with some good liquidity also.

Tron and USDT are much more faster with low fees. They are good alternatives. Doge is also good and I think xem also. But I mostly prefer the first two.

Because of Ethereum high fees, other coins and tokens become relevant my choice of coin and token to transact that offer low fees are Doge and Tron, you can also consider Litecoin, these tokens and coins have become a better alternative because Ethereum now has very high fees, I looked on gas tracker before I made a transaction and shocked to see that fees even reach $15.

I suggest you to use TRX or DOGE and of course I also use TRX or DOGE, because in my opinion TRX or DOGE fees for making transfer on different exchange are very cheap and fast, so in my opinion you can try using TRX or DOGE to replace XRP in making transfer on different exchange and besides that TRX or DOGE is already listed on almost all exchange, because TRX or DOGE is in the top 50 on coinmarketcap.

The procedure fees for transfers / withdrawals are highly dependent on exchanges, with different minimum withdrawal limits. I usually use Huobi, and the USDC surcharge is 2.
