Microsoft and Tanla India Launch Encrypted Message Infrastructure Through Blockchain Network.

After whats app new rules maximum indian users tensed about their security. They think their personal info will be shared with other platform.  You know whats app has a huge number of users in India. According to news 9 out of 10 mobile users use whats app. So when they heared about new rules from whats app. Users denied to accept the new rules. And they are finding another end to end encrypted messaging service. And that time signal, telegram and bip apps getting a huge Traffic. Maybe Microsoft want to take that chance that is why Microsoft comes with indian company tanla to launch a end to end encrypted messaging service. And they heard that india has legalise the crypto buy/sell and indian has a huge interest on crypto. That is why they launch it with blockchain market.

The site is down ! They are gonna start something tied up with Microsoft and this is how well they are prepared. LOL.
They should have at least displayed a proper webpage for maintenance related upgrades if they are working on the maintenance.

Well I just did a little dig up on this info and found that Tanla does seems to launch a new app called "Wisely" with end-to-end encryption.
They are using blockchain as communications platform-as-a-service (CPaaS) and I wonder if blockchain is even needed for a chat application.
They are using  quite a lot of technologies for this which includes

Machine Learning
AI
Azure Databricks
Azure Cosmos DB
Azure PostgresSQL
Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service

Are they using blockchain just for the hype ?

Absolutely they are. These private blockchains are nothing but shared database. These corporates are just using this buzzword to capture market.

According to news 9 out of 10 mobile users use whats app. So when they heared about new rules from whats app. Users denied to accept the new rules.

From where exactly did you hear this? Almost all the WhatsApp users that I know of in person have already accepted the new privacy policy.  While 8 out of 10 knew there is a potential privacy risk and that there are other better alternative services, only 3 out of the 10 even decided to try other services and they eventually returned back to Watsapp. Even the high ranking officials like the District Collectors and Secretaries of Government are sharing official letters over WhatsApp nowadays  Tongue

Now what do you think, is they can get successful to capture indian users to their project? Share your opinion.

Unless they somehow manage to get a good user base, I don't think that they'll replace Watsapp in the near future. And the use of blockchain tech is just going with the current trend.
