^ This is definitely the right answer and always keep in mind that selling under the price where did you purchase your BTC was blindly accepted the loss you have or you are already a loser in that way. If you feel that you have earned 20-50% profit, just cut it off, don't too much greedy because sometimes the more we wanted to profit the more opportunities will stay away. During the deep price in the market just keep hold your coin and never get FUD among by others that result from panic selling or else, just hold at least after 4 years when there is another BTC halving that makes BTC went up the price as always the most anticipated event.

I want to believe that by now, you've probably sold your bitcoin as bitcoin made a new all time high weeks after you created this thread, congratulations to you @op if you later sold at a price higher than that which you bought it or sorry for you loss due to impatience if you later sold at a price below that which you bought it.
Personally, If am ever going to be buying bitcoins as I currently have none, I will be 100 percent ready to keep them for long term and not for the purpose of quick short term gain, bitcoin has proven to us many times that it is an asset very good for long term investment, any short term profit gotten from bitcoin is just a little amount compared to what one can make holding bitcoin for long.

bitcoin holder should be proud with their investment, there are only 21 million coins  and never printed again. this assets was be very rare when completely minted and no more left.  in next several years bitcoin maybe will be most expensive assets ever, so selling it now to early. if we use this investment with free money ,our mental or psychology should be fine when we see its move with high volatility.

holding bitcoin is the best thing to do i totally agree with your suggestion that bitcoin is a long term asset and over time it will continue to increase from year to year and renewable ATH will always be formed. whenever you buy bitcoin is not a problem but whether you can afford to hold it for a long time at least after the halving (4 years), because there will always be an increase from old ATH to renewable ATH.

even if you dare to speculate now bitcoin has also become daily trading because the movement between down and up in the stock market is very fast and if you are smart to analyze then you will get additional benefits from bitcoin, while waiting for a long term.

This is what im doing on where most of the time the bitcoin or coins that i do able to accumulate is been saved on a hardware wallet but when im in need then those coins would really tend to be deducted because whats money if you wont be using it anyway? As long you wouldnt spend it all and save up for the future years then you should be fine.We know the potential of bitcoin when it comes to future runs so majority is really trying out their best to accumulate while they can even though the price is way too expensive at the moment but to think that we can gather on smaller parts which is great.

Yes whatever you said, is somehow correct upto a certain point.
But my friend what if the OP needs some serious cash now? Then yes he is bound to sell the coin.
I am unhappy to see the current price of BTC as it was capable of something else.

Op can do one thing, you can lend some amount and pay it afterwards in the future if you need some hard cash right now(i am saying not to sell the BTC now)
Else if you financially stable now, then wait for some months and you will be happy to be rich.

don't panic and don't worry bitcoin is only undergoing a brief correction. My advice is hold bitcoins and don't sell at low prices, because if you sell at low prices you will only get losses and disappointments

I agree, because bitcoin is now on their process to be back on it's normal market price. I also suggest to hold your bitcoins before you regret and losses such a big chances. Don't panic if the market price went down instead learn to wait and always be updated for you to know when to hold your bitcoins and when you will going to sell it in the right time and in a right moment. Just chill, don't stress yourself because if you do then you will give yourself the reason to feel uneasy and disappointed when the right time will come.

Hi Everyone, I have a dilemma since I am holding an wholesome portion of bitcoin. With all the speculation going on in the market I don't know whether to sell or hold on my bitcoin. I've been wanting for more than a week to see if bitcoin's price improves, but it is only falling more and more.

I've gone through dozens of analysts' blogs, websites, market cap sites, price prediction sites, and all the important bitcoin market sites to find the right answer. But I am still unsure.

So, can anyone please tell me if I should dump my bitcoins with some losses (selling at lesser price than the buying price), or should I hold on to it?

There is also another reason. A promising stock just opened up. So should I sell my bitcoins and but the new stock that I'm interested in?
