I have taken a questions test through Discord channel and have won 15.4 ETH which were made available through a code sent in Telegram in their Exchange website after I have registered on it. Currently I have a balance of 15.4 ETH but if I want to Withdraw them to my ETH address the second screenshot appears. Do you guys think this is a scam and does anyone else here did the same experience as I did? Thank you for the time and the website is https://shadebit.com/en

Bro, do you know how much 15.4 ETH is worth today? 21,000 USD!
Who would be so generous to give away 21,000 USD for you to just answer a couple of questions online?

It's scam

As soon as i saw this screenshoot, avoid them

you shouldn't be having doubts. a newly created "exchange site"(10 days to be exact according to who.is) that gives 15.4 ETH as a "prize" for their "question test" (which is definitely rigged to win the "prize" every time someone finished the question test) and ask for "verification deposition for 0.02btc" in order to withdraw the "winning funds" is a complete and utterly 100% SCAM!!!

how did you even come across with this website? did someone contact you? seen it on an ad?

It's more than 100% scam. In general if anybody/any platform ask for money to get your winning or something like that is pure scam. Don't fall into these scam man. It's an old class tricks.

Few months ago some such exchange site was providing promo code to receive some bonus. And the bonus was not a little amount. and they ask money during withdrawal.

This is a fake scam exchange just like the exchanges exopseed earlier. After seeing huge winning funds, many crypto users send money to scammers for verification purposes and they never get that money back. I saw their domain registration date, they purchased this domain few days ago. Creating such an original exchange in such a short time is not easy. So the scammers have created this fake exchange only for the purpose of scam.

Hopefully, you are the only one who have experienced this thing on this website. It is a scam 100% no need to put a slack of 10% because this is clearly a scam, unless you still have hope that the money is a real thing because it is not, I know how attractive it is but all that glitter isn't gold or in this case ethereum. There are other people here that have the same experience as you because most scams operate the same.

I had encounters with this kind of websites back then but I knew that they were scams because the advertisement is that no money is needed to get the "free log-in reward" but then I completed the necessary forms to put in and voila you need to send this amount to get the full benefits, good thing I grow up knowing about things that are often offered free of charge and that is most of them have an underlying favor that is not worth it to hustle on to get the reward. Hopefully, this kind of trick becomes a normal thing for people that when they see one that does this, they wouldn't even bat an eye or check it out, its tricky thing though as @logfiles have mentioned that some of the offenders are casinos or exchanges, they will lure you in and make you comfortable before they leave you hanging, the only thing that I can think of to prevent this one is to not put a lot of money in the website so as not to prevent a big loss in the case that they did pull a big one on you.
