OMG( OMG Network) hasn’t been moving while every other coins have spiked since the September lows. What is happening? I was hoping it would spike due to Defi and OMG being one of the Ethereum scaling solution.

The opposite thing was happening with OMG as there's no big update for the OMG. Ethereum doesn't even need the scaling solution that is offered by OMG.
This coin is starting to go back to the bottom again.
The fact that if I have rarely seen defi has been making cooperation with OMG. You should at least wait for another month to see whether this coin is still having potential or not.

I think when there's nothing talking about the coin that's the time you should buy it and OMG is still at top 100 in terms of market cap and saying it's dead is totally out of the blue, I'd say buy it if there's no one talking about it not when there's some news and everyone is in FOMO. I'd like to share an analysis here for OMG but keep in mind this isn't accurate and just my own analysis but I think we could hit that $5 level again by February if we can hold that strong support but if not then might be on the $2 area.


We are in that white circle right now and my prediction is OMG may tend to hit the no.2 (blue line) since RSI is declining but if it holds in the trendline area I'd expect we can hit the previous resistance or even break it by February. If the trendline will be rejected we should expect $2. It should hold the trendline or the support area (green rectangle) to break the previous resistance.

If the price sideways its not means the project dead, i dont think OMG Network is dead. I think the only problem OMG is not interested anymore because ETH 2.0 promosing us to have Ethereum blockchain itself become more scalable.

I wouldn't worry if I were you though. I'd pay attention to fundamentals and utility, which seems to be growing for OMG. Market price is always something that doesn't add up.

Even now, I still keep OMG in my wallet, and the value has not changed. this makes me confused when OMG will be able to experience a high spike. but only surprises can make all that change to OMG

A low volume from the market means a low interest from the public, this is good before but now that there’s a lot of option, many still don’t want to buy OMG. If we didn’t hear good news from OMG this quarter then I guess they’ll miss the train going up and remain on that position, this is not good for the hodlers.

Trading volume 24 hours is 410 million dollars, all of the top exchanges list OMG. Dead? You conclude too subjective because the price isn't spike, you may not invest it but shouldn't have such thoughts.

I think the op referring to OMG as 'Dead' is just a figure of speech since lately the attention has shifted to new project rather than the previous ones, omg was one of top most talked about project back in 2017, but things changed since then, now we have different defi and oracle projects that have taken the spotlight,
A Dead project will definitely not have such trading volume, omg is very much alive only that the hype has shifted to newer project that simple.

Agreed, It's better to analyze the fundamental of OMG. This coin is still placed into the top 100 CMC and that means the potential will always there.
People are taking the price as the thing to determine what will be the future for the project and this is a wrong thing.
People should care about the development progress instead of always taking the price but i know that he was OMG holders.

Don't say the project is dead if you don't understand what's going on !, check on OmiseGo github and their social media, don't they make regular updates? Obviously you just gave a statement without any reason. There's no interesting stuff was coming from the team. I see that the latest update from the team about the OMG partnership with the cream finance but that's will not enough to create the HYPE.
OMG doesn't seem to be the best solution for the ethereum scaling problem and that's why so many its supporters have been leaving it.

Ethereum itself will do another hardfork to fix its scalability problem and OMG looks like worthless to be used as investment consider ethereum doesn't need OMG.

He considered a project dead only based on the steady price, its not a good point for see a project. As long as the project have any update and the coin its actively traded on the market then the project is still alive and have some hopes for the price to rise.

Omisego is still good project. It will growth when developer done their roadmap. Dont expect the pump, because legit project will eventually rise when the infrastructure and the development done. Just like eth and another alt project.
