There are already tons of gambling site that are safe for newbies and easy to use.

Stake and cloudbet are the casinos that I have used so far but among the two, I can recommend stake as there are not negative accusations so far that are addressed to stake compare to cloudbet where I have read many accusations to them.

I am definitely not planning to lose my money, I know, I won't always win of course, but I'm willing to deposit a small amount of Bitcoin, such as 1 mBTC to mess around.

There are a lot of members here that wear their signatures of a gambling site. If you want to check trusted gambling sites, most of them are worn and their campaigns started for a long time now. There are a lot of them so you could just check them out and try some of them or maybe deposit on the site that you are comfortable to play to.

KYC has nothing to do with  this and most of known sites now do release of withdrawals without any issues or further verifications no matter how big it is.

So this wont really be a problem for you to bother on.I dont know what  he meant about newbie gambling sites which particularly talk about new ones as far  as i understand but

people had been suggesting those sites which had already been trusted into this market which i do see to be normal to take such recommendations.

Roobet is one of the top gambling site now so I also don’t know the reason why not trying on this site where in fact its good for the need of OP since he don’t like sports bet that much. I hope @OP will not confuse to choose what gambling site he can play, but no matter what the site is, he must remember that gambling is not a way to make money, and we must control ourselves inside the games. I had a look around on most websites that have been suggested here, some are quite more advanced than others. However, FreeBitcoin is one of the oldest and most trusted websites that have been posted. I used to use their faucet back in the days, now, I might spend some time with multiplying Satoshi just to kill time.

OP, your approach to this is 100% correct...

There are just too many "newbie" gamblers that are falling for scam casinos and they stop gambling on online casinos as a result of them losing money when they cannot withdraw their deposits and even their profits.

Some casinos (even the legit casinos) look the other way when you are gambling from a country that are not allowed to gamble at their casino and when you want to withdraw... they block your account and your withdrawals. It is a common strategy for them to use this as an excuse not to pay out.

Reputable gambling sites here will not do that, so it's better to gamble on gambling sites with an active ANN thread and well trusted OP. They build their reputation here using the forum, they would not destroy it as they are continues making themselves profitable from gamblers in the forum. Look at some gambling sites which has an ANN thread here, when their account were painted, they loss gamblers here, and some even want to correct their mistakes to regain their good reputation as they know how big the market bitcointalk is.
