There are numerous websites which claims to double your Bitcoin within 24 hours and I have heard from some of the victims that they just don't allow you to withdraw by asking you to deposit more bitcoin's in order to withdraw this end up cheating you without even returning your capital investment. Just to make their telegram look more genuine there are imposter accounts with names from multiple nationalities. Be aware guys as no one would be able to give you 100% profit within 24 hours so it's a scams and stay away from it. I will share futher details shortly.

This is not new though, doubler has been in the space for many years. And now that the price of bitcoin has peak to its all time high of $40k, these scammers are also going to pop up like mushrooms in the space. You just have to look at the Scam Accusationsboard to see how many bitcoin doubler have been reported by several scam busters here in our community (not to count fake and phishing site and scam projects).

Most people especially the newcomers are here for the quick cash thinking bitcoin is good for that. exactly. Bitcoin scams become dumber and dumber nowadays but I guess it caters to its target audience anyway. That being said, people should be more vigilant and more intelligent in taking care of their money. Be it in bitcoins or not

These reports really destroy the image and reputation of bitcoin in the public.

People are getting scared to invest on it because all they know is that bitcoin is a scam and not legit.

We need to report all those scams so that we can somehow help those newbies to become aware and prepared when they encountered that kind of schemes. Bitcoin is never a scam, don't just focus on an easy money, don't be fooled by a free bitcoin giveaway or bitcoin multiplier that you can see online because no one will give you bitcoin for free.

This isn't a new type of scam, it's likely the oldest Bitcoin scam, and it works because people don't think about Bitcoin as money. I'm sure if you offered people to double their dollars, no one would send you any, everyone would understand that it's impossible, so we don't see any "dollar doublers" around, but if people view Bitcoin as some sort of digital tulip for getting rich quick, then it's understandable how they can think that someone will "double" their coins. Or maybe some complete beginners don't even know how Bitcoin works, and they think that new bitcoins are created by doubling.

That's what I thought so too, the only thing that they have changed is the part where you do not have to deposit anything to withdraw anything. I would like to refute the part that this not happen in a fiat standpoint, this type of thing is prevalent in fiat or anything, as a scammer you just need to be creative to pull it off, in my country, it is a networking scam that needs you to invest your money and they will double it in a months time and there is also that game scam in Runescape where they really double your money at the start where the amount is so small that would hook them to do more gold in the next transaction and then you will do so because you trust the person and they will scam you then and there.

Scamming is rampant now that is why SEC and the government supporting campaign to prevent this activity succeed but very unfortunate that some people become a victim despite those warnings send online, in social media, news,  and even from friends. I don't see any person to be blamed for this but just themselves. Their greedy soul is so much driving them to get crazy thinking about double and any Ponzi scheme surrounds us.

To be frank I think now is the time for many people to be careful of their Bitcoin and how they go about investing it, because as Bitcoin grows and become more valuable, the more the number of scammers will keep increasing, while they keep using every possible strategy to scam people, and most of the times, their normal way is through promising their potential victims high returns with little capital; it takes someone who isn't greedy to be free from all these scammers. Also, telegram which has made it easy to communicate with people from different countries, scammers are now leveraging it to carry out their scams, thus once you find yourself in a new group, do well to report it and exit as soon as possible. In addition, not only on telegram, once you come across all these sort of Bitcoin investments be it on Twitter etc, just overlook them.

doublers had been around since time, it hasn't yet failed especially if promoted to newbies on social media sites like facebook. there are still people who want easy money, it will really make users send their BTC expecting to be doubled. the pandemic is driving people to scam. shamelessly dong it on facebook with real accounts and when busted, they are the ones going to report you.

The best thing you can do against them is to report the topics stating that they are spamming on the forum. I noticed such posts today as well. I do not report many myself so sometimes when I saw these kinds of posts, I just ignore them. But maybe we all should report such topics before moving on to the next tab.

Our initial response when encountering these kinds of posts would be to ignore them. Well, at least for us who knows how to spot a scam or a 'too good to be true' kind of project. However, we may be safe but others will possibly not especially if they are ignorant. So the best thing we could do to help those possible victims is to report this kind of schemes as soon as we saw them. And alerting others about it could be of great help.

But, as much as possible, we should just redirect our paths away from these. Upon reading the first line in the OP which is about doubling your bitcoin, that sounds shady to me already. After all, if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

In the first place, come to think of it, they have no possible way to gain profit from this but to just simply scam the investor, I had people on my messenger offering me this kind of investment scam wherein if I drop more BTC, I'll double the amount I gave the first time, not the person you'd want to talk to because I don't get scammed so easily and you guys really have to do your research before making a decision, because it's either you'll gain or you will simply lose everything.

I don't trust any bitcoin double because I have a bad experience with that in the past. If that comes to the double, you need to be careful and never try to invest with them because they will run out anytime. If you can hold your bitcoin, you don't need any investment type because holding bitcoin will be the best investment you can have.

There are always people who are stolen money from these scam no matter how we warn them seriously. That's why those scamming types are always existed and evolved to new different form. As a very careful investor, I can say that I have never suffered any loss from these scam. It is quite easy to spot a fraudulent model.
