I wouldn't suggest to invest on a coin launched by exchanges because the price/worth is based on the exchanges reputation. If the reputation is good, popular and trusted, the coin will have high value and vice versa.

As we can know many exchanges already got hacked from past until now and still counting Hacked Exchanges since 2011

Before thinking of buying any coin always know you can never predict the future price, thus prepare your mind towards what you want to gain as well as any unforeseen risks. Now in the case of these two coins, first they are both exchange coins from different categories of exchanges, that is, UNI is from a decentralized exchange while BNB is from a centralized exchange, that is to say, just as Binance is the best centralized exchange hence making BNB very strong, in the same way, Uniswap is currently the best decentralized exchange and thus making UNI very strong. Therefore, with more projects going for Uniswap first for listing as seen nowadays, it will continue to increase the value of the coin and might make it to surpass BNB, but also know it might not surpass BNB for long, because the BNB team have their own way of promoting their coin.
Therefore, I believe holding any of them is good and if you can or have more funds, then you can also buy both and hold.

No doubt it has shown very impressive performance  during the past one year and only during past one month it surged more than 200%  but I don't think it will surpass or reach near  BNB in coming weeks and months. BNB is backed by Binance which is leading world exchange in respect of volume and liquidity and Binance Team has created very good use case of BNB.

It's quite difficult to be achieved consider binance has various utility usage but UNI is still a governance token. That means if UNI needs develop more good features to be used by people and then there will be FOMO for uni.

I wouldn't suggest to invest on a coin launched by exchanges because the price/worth is based on the exchanges reputation. If the reputation is good, popular and trusted, the coin will have high value and vice versa.

When BNB showed steep growth (regardless of market trend), BINANCE was the only interesting exchange. Now everything has gone to DEX, which means that the UNI token is now also in trend. I am sure that the capitalization of the token will soon enter the TOP-10 coinmarket cap, perhaps even overtake BNB!

To be completely honest - I don't think UNI will become next BNB, simply because BNB itself is not going anywhere.

Yes binance got hacked once times on 2019 and they can recover it since the loss is less than the profit they got before. What if the hacker steal all funds on Binance? they will not able to recover the loss just like Mt Gox.

Binance are more risky rather than UNISWAP because Uniswap is decentralized and don't hold our funds in their hot wallet. There's no way a hacker can reach the central wallet except they know the vulnerability in the code just like bisq problem here https://bisq.network/statement-security-vulnerability-april-2020

UNI doesn't have the technologies required to be in place of BNB as of today. BNB is the gas used for transactions on Binance Smart Chain but UNI is just a coin of UNISWAP which I don't know if it is of Ecosystem.
UNI increases in price is for series of activities by the team. BNB team seem sleeping when other projects are driving their prices up. We can see that the price isn't that well despite the bull run experienced in the recent time.

We cannot say anything what will happen in the market. However, I cannot deny that both has a potential to give a nice volume

I did not expect that UNI would be able to reach the 14$ mark in such a short time, I certainly expected that uni would be trading at 7-8$, since the uniswap exchange is now in great demand at the same level as binance, but I did not expect that big players would have such a demand for the purchase of UNI, of course, I think very few people this expected, but of course I think that after such growth UNI will be able to grow in price to new heights in the future, so BNB and UNI are now competitors, as they are next to each other.

You're right although BNB is obviously the one to flourished even more in the future, we cannot underestimate what the UNI developers can do cause they're doing everything to promote their program. It's best to invest in such kind of coins where they will have some outstanding sacrifice to promote their coins and the fruit of their patients and perseverance can be seen in their successful marketing strategy which makes them one of the strongest and trusted exchanges that ever exist in the crypto industry.

for now the price of BNB has risen higher than the price of UNI, but indeed the opportunity for UNI to become the next BNB and replace BNB position might happen, because no one can guess what will happen to cryptocurrency in the future like Polkadot replaced Ripple, but it may be difficult to happen or it will take a long time for UNI to become the next BNB, because as long as BNB is still popular and people are still investing in BNB then of course BNB will continue to survive.

IMHO, I believe it will not, Binance is already in the business since 2017 and it has gone through a process of what it is now just like its coin the BNB, and the BNB supply is more scarce compared to the UNISWap UNI token and I think UNI's price will not last for long and it will return to its previous or maybe lower because if the Defi hype was already gone. UNiSWap will be affected too because they are just defending on one blockchain which is Ethereum while Binance BNB will have many options, and I dont like UNISwap honestly because it required huge gas fees before you can use it. Uni is a non-custodial exchange, that is the only thing decentralized about it. The developers/founders are pretty much still in charge of what goes on on that platform. And you bet they still boost a lot of the token liquidity there. Similar to BNB, except maybe that Uni seemed more serious about trying to decentralize with UNI token.

Yeah exactly. Not all the exchange tokens could perform like those two so you still be careful in choosing them as much as possible choose those reputable ones. Honestly, I've used to get few exchanges way back then but I'd say that they are now good as Binance or UNI. Anyway, there's a chance for UNI to surpass Binance though if it performs well to the other one. But surpassing it doesn't make any difference at all(for me at least), I mean they are really worth coin to invest after all.

After the massive success of uniswap, many DEX emerges and offers different solutions. Like 1inch is a good decentralized aggregator, even metamask is providing a similar service like them with swapping protocol. But the thing is as long as eth fees problem has not been solved it will not be good for any of these exchanges. Recently I got a token from airdrop and I tried to exchange it through uniswap but it askes for over 100$ gas fees. As long as uniswap keeps its reputation high UNI will show good price action.

It is not impossible that UNI will surpass BNB. If the users of Uniswap keep come, then the coin value will keep rising too.

The smal traders are going back again to the centralized exchange site to avoid the non sense fees in ethereum blockchain.

The UNI coin, unlike the BNB, has no utility for those who hold it. BNB holders have the opportunity to pay lower fees, as well as participate in launchpad and Launchpool, which are held on the Binance exchange. Do not forget that binance itself created its own uni as well and its own chain that has defi projects on top of it too. Binance smart chain allows projects to be listed there, they even gave 100+ million dollars in funds so that people could build great things on top of the chain, for example uniswap is great right? You can trade any erc20 token to any other erc20 token without depositing your money anywhere, so you think that is awesome?

Well you pay 20-30 dollars network fee there, on binance smart chain you have staking, pools and farms that earn huge returns on investments, and you only pay few dollars at most, usually less for all of that. People can go in, turn their bnb into cake, use that to farm, get double that amount in a week, turn it back to bnb and get out. It is basically uniswap times 10 and that is on binance used with BNB so nothing could ever be like bnb.

I can't agree with you mate, What do you mean about more dynamics? Uni gives alternative solution for the developers to get the decentralized exchange site that is fully transparent.
UNI didn't change a lot but it gives only another way for people to exchange their ethereum assets easily rather than try to send it first to the cex but the fees is also very high because it's totally depend on the ethereum network.

I do not agree with him neither. Sure there are some features of UNI that binance may never have, but binance decided to go with defi route and now have pancakeswap which is literally the same thing as uniswap but works with bnb instead of eth. There is nothing that would pass BNB right now with just new features, it is just impossible because BNB adds all those features in itself.

If you want to pass bnb you have to just create a hype, look at dot for example it passed so many coins and became very high ranked, not because dot is the best blockchain, we have seen better blockchains never get listed that way, it got that high thanks to creating hype on people.

Get that "buy this and you will be rich soon" idea into peoples minds and you will be capable of making a profit in the future very easily and get ranked very high, aside from that with just blockchain improvements, bnb will not be passed.

True. Though UNISWAP has made huge profit during 2020 but still It won't be easy for UNI to beat price of BNB as Binance is leading world exchange and BNB Rank is #10 on coinmarketcap. Binance has created very good use case of BNB as utility token. I hope what you say can prove it in the future because if it only has a positive impact it is likely clear, if there is intervention from a good and famous one, it will certainly happen.

Very good point. DEX platform is very limited. Whereas, Binance is catering both, not only defi tokens. I don't think small traders are very happy with UNI gas fees. Once this defi hype is over, what will be the future of Uni? So I don't think Uni will be the next BNB here. They will have a lot of things to tackle here. What you said is right, but it is not the problem for UNI but for Ethereum blockChain, while BSC is offering low transaction fee, that's why many people are shifting BSC blockchain which most of the normal people able to spend a lot of money for just a fee. People are not moving to the BSC as the majority of their assets are still ERC form and they were only trading the tokens that traded or available on BSC. They were seeing BSC as an alternative chain for ethereum. UNI is getting ether chain as its disadvantage but so far uni was providing a reall good service.

I believe there is not just that goes into play, we also had a lot of people who couldn't traded their tokens because they weren't listed anywhere famous, and the liquidity provider idea that you could make profit from the difference allowed people to make money from being the middleman and also it made things easier for people to send and finally get rid of coins they were holding for a long time.

I haven't used uniswap yet neither, it is too expensive for me, but I had a friend who had 70 dollars worth of this token that he wanted to get rid of, but it was only in one place and there wasn't enough volume for him to sell directly without disturbing, he checked uniswap for it and I think he sold it for something similar with and lost a good chunk of money doing it but at least he was happy he got out. Defi has now started to change its main function into trading materials (like it or not). Imagine, if the defi token is functioning according to its original purpose, you'll experience headaches when knowing the high fee of platform defi activities.

Agreed with you that's very painful experience for some people to trade on Uniswap as they have to pay more high fee. Have you ever traded on Uniswap and Binance exchanges? UNI and BNB tokens are the Exchange tokens.
Transaction fees at Uniswap are very high, if you only take a small profit from a small capital, then your transaction costs will be greater than the profits you get. in terms of exchange transaction fees CEX is better.
From here I think BNB has better potential than UNI, and UNI tokens will be very difficult to surpass BNB.

Meaning, ETH is the best one in alts, it got better with defi and other stuff, bnb was second best one, and it became as good as ETH was before the defi, even the price of BNB is getting to 100-150 dollar levels (right now over 90+ dollars) which was the price ETH was at the start of 2020 and I think BNB is as good as late 2019 ETH right now.

Now we have UNI which is basically Binance type exchange with decentralization, which means UNI is basically BNB but in 2018-2019 as well. So one gets better, other takes its place it used to be. I believe this will go on like this for a very long time, each of them will get better and better.

Yeah UNI has great opportunity to be the new BNB, but BNB is a very useful utility token on binance exchange, with it you save 25% of trading fees. Uniswap has high gas fee and i can't see a real application of UNI at the moment.
Ranking is not everything. But UNI is a decentralized exchange and the decentralization in crypto world is very important!

It seems that BNB is much stronger than this UNI.

Possibility to happened is very high, if DeFi project disappear this coin will also go along the way, though in case
success like what happened to BNB.

UNI has a good future and it is growing so fast. Last few days, UNI gained good price and hopefully it will be growing continuously. But obviously we should remember that Uniswap and Binance is not same.

Actually both has a good future and more users enjoying on this network. Agree, UNI coin became famous and gained high value just because it is mining a new trend for the market, combined with the airdrop rewards they provide to the community, all of which has given them a lot of hype about their company, helping them mark a foothold in the marketplace but after all, this trend has become more boring, lacking in creativity. While the development of BNB has gradually been upgraded, plus the provision of new rewards, UNI wants to be the next BNB is probably a long way in terms of development and very challenging in competing with its predecessor like BNB

I am waiting for from most of these DEXes to believe they can surpass BNB in value is how the scale on L2, most of them are looking o launch on Layer 2 now and they are going for different solutions, if they can scale and bring down the transaction fees and the speed they they are in for a good run. It is about the hype and it is about what people want as well. Uniswap may not get more attention in the future if ETH gas fee keeps going higher and higher, why would it go higher in the end, if the whole situation is paying 30+ dollars for transactions and 70+ dollars for swapping coins, that means we are talking about too much money to make uniswap viable, people will try to not use it this much and find a way to get rid of it as much as they can.

So, if there is a way that it could get under 1 dollar to move money around, uniswap will be used a lot and uni token will be awesome as well and we are going to see the biggest exchange in the world becoming a DEX one, but as long as it is this expensive, there is no way people end up paying 75 dollars for one network fee to swap things around, that just doesn't make sense and only rich do it which makes it not become the biggest, just whales place.
